I couldn't get to sleep until I stuck my fan on. Soon as I did that I was off. That was less than 4 hours ago after 5:30a.m. I hate having to work.

Been a month now and the wound has closed enough it’s time for the second phase of the surgery a skin graft to cover the open wound because of how deep and wide the wound was (from my ankle to about 1inch below my pinky toe and open all the way down to the bone)

 

Because it was an infection they couldn’t close the wound after surgery so I’ve been attach to a wound-vac that kind of like a vacuum that sucks out any kind of loose tissue, blood ect and encouraging the wound to at least close some on its own which it has but not enough so they’re just going to go ahead and graft it.

 

He said the worse part of the graft is the skin shaving from the skin donor site not the actual graft as he’ll be taking off the top two layers of skin on my thigh to use for the graft.

 

The ankle pain isn’t as bad as it was a few weeks ago I can now walk to the bathroom and stuff without help but can’t stand for very long the worse part is the dressing changes because I have medical packing foam within the wound so it hurts like a bitch when they have to pull it out and put it back in but I’ll only have to deal with that for another week till the skin graft then it’ll just be regular wrapping dressing.

 

Im ready to be allowed to get back to full activity there is only so much TV and Vidro Games you can play and for anybody who says being able to lay in bed for a month would be a dream trust me it not it really sucks and I honestly hate having to rely on others to bring me everything.

When you get back up after a month in bed would probably be painful because then you'd have to learn to walk again.

When I was in bed because of a fractured leg bone I realized that it isn't the exact dream I thought it would be. Especially taking care of personal hygiene. Hope you have received injections daily to prevent thrombus and good luck learning to walk again. It's a real bitch on the first day or so.

I'm seriously tired of seeing Among Us content everywhere, it's even recommended to me on YouTube, despite never liking or watching any videos. Perhaps it's just because someone I'm subbed to started consistently making Among Us videos, even though I've never watched or clicked on said videos, but I doubt that.

I’m being hit with a wrecking ball of bad luck that won’t stop oscillating for the last couple of days now, worst case was losing nearly $900 to thin air because the ATM I tried withdrawing from froze and crashed.

 

It eventually spat out my card, but now I have to wait up to a week for my issue to be resolved and have my cash reimbursed. Even the clerk who sent a ticket of my predicament to HQ felt sorry for me.

That's a lesson for you. Always hoard your money in a crawl space and only take it out when needed.

I find memories feel more sharper if there is a sense of smell attached to them. I was just listening to a track from Pokemon Platinum and I thought of the days I spent playing/watching my friend play that game at his place and automatically the smell of washed clothes entered my mind and the memories seemed much more clearer

 

Similarly the other day I was reminiscing of the times we'd mess around in the computer lab in school playing pinball, trying to hack in the school network etc and though it's been some time since I was in school I automatically get the smell of room freshener and the memories still feel very warm.

This is actually scientifically proven. You easily remember something if that something is linked somehow to a smell or vice versa (you remember a smell if its linked to a memory). This is why its said that if you're preparing for an exam you should spam a certain smell in your room because if you managedto "link" that smell with what you're studying, you'll have an easier time in remembering the exam stuff if you can picture/"smell" the smell while in the exam.

Can confirm that. There's a religious song I was listening to way back in 2009/2010. Anytime I listen to it now, I remember the 6th Grade days. Not only that, I even remember at least one documentary show I was watching on NatGeo back then (Dangerous Encounters for those wondering). I remember almost everything that happened back then simply by listening to that one song. Also, the Quran when "played" by a particular guy instantly reminds me of PlayStation Quake II. Just merely thinking of the guy's voice makes me remember the days of me playing that game.

Music and smells have been some of the most powerful tools of recollection to me, and the process is nothing short of fascinating. A song could pop into my head almost entirely at random, a song I haven't heard in well over ten years. I'll find it and listen to it and there'll be this internal clash of the person I was when I first heard/liked it and the person I am now. I'll notice different things, hear things I hadn't before, regardless of whether or not I even like the song anymore.

Well, I’m back to my original username on this site. I’m ThatBenGuy just like when I first came here!  To all my friends on this site, I apologize for not being very active lately. As I’ve said before, I’m currently taking the optician program in college. With that being said, I can only be so active as it’s a lot of work. So far, I’m liking it. I’m liking it a great deal.

Haven't ranted about Skyrim for years so here it comes: been trying to use Nemesis (a mod) for who knows how long, always got greeted by the "api-ms-runtime" issue. Finally fixed that. Launches Nemesis. What greets me? "The Application was unable to start correctly. Click OK to close." F*ck you.

 

Wonder if "installing" the game on my laptop and running Nemesis from there would work.....

Use Fores New Idles (FNIS). Unless you're using 360 movement behaviour it's much more seamless and refined for most animation mods.
