Being a moderator has its good points, but if I’m honest I’m happy just being a regular GTAF civilian.

Well tonight was an ass pucker kind of night....

 

 

At first it just seemed like a regular storm but the lightning was intense lightning up the whole room I took a quick video before the tornado sirens sounded...

 

 

The tornado sirens was then followed by my bedroom window shattering letting in a howling a wolf would be jealous of I don’t think I’ve ever jumped out of bed so quickly before to go grab my girls and get us to the basement for a good 10 minutes sounded like a train driving by I was just bracing for the big tree in my backyard to come crashing down.

 

Poor Buster got so freaked by the shattered window he ran and hid so I couldn’t find him in the dark to get him in the basement but once the storm passed I heard him whimpering and hiding behind the couch.

 

Power lines are down all over the neighborhood with one pole snapping in half just down the street.
 

It temporarily knocked out cell services so none of us could reach emergency services to inform them of the live wires so I had to use my work radio to inform them, While the call connected and I could hear them but they couldn’t hear me

So, is/are any of you experiencing some weird YouTube bug/glitch/issue/whatever on the phone? Whenever I watch a YT video and start scrolling down to the Comments, sometimes the thing would just "freeze" in place and I can neither continue scrolling down or scroll back up. Swapping "Down" does nothing (kind of like when you hit the bottom of a page), and trying to scroll up brings the "Reload Page" promont thingie which pops up when you're at the top of the page you're viewing and swipe "Up". Only way of getting out of this "bug" is by Reloading the page. Also, clicking the YouTube symbol at the top left brings a blank YT page that have nothing, just an all-white page with no videos or even texts. Definitely a glitch or something similar. And like I've said, the only way of getting out of this is refreshing/reloading the page (although this doesn't always work with the latter). The few times I've used my mom's phones I didn't run into any issue though.

 

Is it just my phone? Is Chrome having a stroke? Is the YT site indeed glitched out? I dunno.

@ṼirulenⱦEqừinox I remember once I was walking my dog here in the uk and it started raining. Normally I'd turn back and go home but then it started thundering and lightning so I thought I'd risk finishing the walk. Glad I did because as I turned down a street the whole sky lit up and I could see the lightning spreading through the clouds.

Completely lost our dense, Got hail damage and Part of our roof came off BIL came over patched up whst he could Power still out and told it may not be on til tomorrow, got no running water either as we have a In ground Water Well & SupPumo so cant flush toilet.

 

Theyre saying we’ll be lucky to even get power back tomorrow because of so many lines down.

 

My sister is such a bitch, For the first time ever I asked her a favor to let my girls and I spend the night she tells me No, Go get a hotel.

 

I watch my niece & nephew for her several times a month since they were born, I’ve never asked her for help and the one time I do she tells me that.

 

Im not a crier but what she did actually made me tear up to know she won’t even help her own family when they needed it.

 

My BIL is awesome and overruled her and told us to come but I already got them a nice hotel room just too bad they won’t be allowed to use the pool due to orders ruling all non-residential pools closed.
