Is she attractive though or ugly? I'd say maybe go for it.

I mean I think she's pretty good looking, but I've never really thought about it until now. I'd feel awkward trying to date someone that is like 10 years old than me. Not to mention I have anxiety anyways.

Then again, I could be totally wrong about her age, she could be early 30's. It's hard to tell sometimes, especially with Women.

It'd be awkward with the age gap or not depends. I work in a grocery store too Whole Foods and they require us to engage with customers too. Maybe shes just being that way because she needs a raise.

I am the worst guy to give advice lol.

It's probably just the bolded if I had to make a guess. Either way, I'm actually considering shopping some other place on certain days just because of my anxiety. Jesus. I've got this thing with being recognised, I hate it. I remember I used to hide sometimes if I saw some old School people at the shops. They probably have forgot who I am by now.

For NNN this time around, I've eaten salted peanuts with even more salt added upon any thought, or the urge to masturbate. Can't say it's healthy but I'm convinced it's working. :monocle:

At least shes happy to see you. There's this creep that shows up every week and we all try to keep our distance because he gets a bit too touchy feely. He shows up and says hi but tries to start a conversation and everytime he will try to touch your shoulder or something he will not leave without touching you. Apparently one day one of my coworkers was stocking the eggs and he was trying to gently stroke his hair lol. He gives off those drives a white windowless van, got free candy vibes.

Headsup on my PC: Turns out my guess is correct (water getting inside of this thing damaged one of the hardware pieces), precisely the power supply. The good news? This means that no Software is required (so I get to keep all my games & Skyrim mods, YAY!). The bad news: This sh*t costs 350LYD here..... I personally only have 100LYD. fffs.

I'm actually thinking of giving my PC a Windows upgrade sometime later. Last time my PC got Software'd, the idiot used a 32-Bit system OS instead of the proper 64-Bit, which made my PC weaker/slower. Been wondering why I had to tone down the graphics in DooM 4 when I didn't have to before.

I thought about posting a picture of my cat a while back then I had second thoughts because what if somebody from here lives nearby and recognises my cat and then me?

You're lucky. I decided to fix my PC after 4 years and I had to change the HD, memory, power supply and the speakers, and I will probably have to buy a  new Keyboard/mouse set. Also, none of the front ports works so I'll have to buy a new tower in the future.

I'm happy that I've got a PC from 2014. Had no problems with it thus far, although I barely do anything on it except browse the internet. It probably could do with a clean inside, but I tend to keep it pretty clean & minimalist and I make a habit of resetting it a couple of times a year for a fresh start.

I felt the same. Was going to post my picture on here so people could see what I looked like, and then I had a million thoughts running through my head. What if somebody recognises me and reads all the posts on here? I'm pretty open on here compared to real life, so it'd be weird.

Don't think I'm ugly or anything, I'd say I'm pretty average looking. Just not sure I'd be comfortable with my picture up on here.

I built a gaming PC in 2010 and it run well until 2015. Then it broke, but I didn't bother to fix back then. I'll buy/fix what needs to be fixed from time to time. I'll be more careful now with it, it's costing me a lot of money to get it back in a good shape.

Ah, that's where we differ. I have a simple Windows 10 desktop I bought from Argos. Wasn't ever planning on playing games on it. Building a PC has always confused the heck out of me, I'm sure it's simple when you take the time to research but it's like alien technology to me.

The longest a PC has ran on me was my old PC. Bought by my dad in 2007 mostly for school work, but he put more ram (4gbs) and an old video card he found and made a mini-gaming PC. Thing is currenty broken, but this is only the second time it completelly broke (pretty good for a 12-yr old PC that got used and abused everyday and cleaned maybe 3x a year). The thing outlived the company that built it.

Now I'm planning on buying another pre-built PC. Tought about building it myself but I get anxious just by seeing those Linus Tech videos of them building PCs, all I think is "damn, if I screw up there goes my PC".

Yeah, I can guarantee I'd end up missing an essential part or putting something in at the wrong place. I have anxiety, so I doubt I'd be able to do it without my hands shaking. I even hate plugging Consoles in. Anything where I'm handling electronics that were expensive just makes my anxiety skyrocket, especially if they're new.

I use a refurbished MacBook Pro from 2013 for everything and I'm very aware it's not going to last for too much longer. I take exceptional care of it though, and I've had the battery swapped along with a RAM upgrade to match my needs. My main fear is having to get used to another OS all over again. I can't justify buying another MacBook because the prices are astronomical and I rely on a massive hard-drive. All of my media is saved, and I stream very little. Transferring the data isn't an issue but I have this sinking feeling that I'll go to turn it on one day and it just... won't.

I've never bought a refurbished item, what was it like? You can get refurbished consoles for cheaper but it's always sounded sketchy to me. Just how much refurbishing do they actually do, or do they just slap the refurbished tag on it to make it seem more appealing. I was going to buy a Laptop at some point, but then I looked at the prices, and suddenly didn't feel the need for one anymore. 😂

I have the same fear with my PC. One day it just won't switch on at all. I hate turning it on every single time, even though I've had it for years. I hate using any electronics really, I always get anxiety over it.

Well, I was looking into buying a new laptop. At the time I had a Windows 7 that was starting to disintegrate. I went into a local computer shop, it was either Currys, Comet or PC World. I can't remember which. It might even been a Dixons. Anyway, they had some older MacBooks for sale and I was taken in by the price and its specs. It did everything I needed and then some. I was a bit overwhelmed at first because I'd gone from PC to Mac but it didn't take long. Overall, I didn't notice the difference, especially when I updated the iOS to the current release. I imagine it's a different story for every shop you visit but I think they were just keen to get rid of old stock.

That's the bad thing though, as well-versed as I am when it comes to handling Windows, I'm a complete ignorant when it comes to hardware. I lack the knowledge of electronical stuff when it comes to PC parts. Even after opening my PC's cover, I still had no idea what each component does or how each part connects together. I wish I knew how, at least I'd know how to fix this thing, or at a very minimum I'd figure out how to obtain my files back.

I forgot to ask whether you can get as far as the bios and whether your PC makes any of the diagnostic beeps? You can get a list of beep codes for your bios on the web. Also, knowing your motherboard make and model number can help you determine your bios make/type.

What you could also do is take everything out of your machine except the CPU, the Ram and your monitor, and see if it will boot to the bios.  If it does that then add in your hard drive and restart.  If it boots to windows (or safe mode at least) then you know it's possibly another item of hardware that's the problem.  Keep adding more hardware until you reach the problem.

I realize it probably sounds dumb, but I've hated plugging anything in for as long as I can remember. I always leave things plugged in if possible, because I get this irrational fear that I'll get electrocuted if I plug it out or in. I have this with a lot of things that would probably seem simple to most people and they wouldn't even think about it, but I get extremely anxious about.

My anxiety is more social and performance related. I just can't imagine getting anxiety from that. Not belittling. Okay maybe a little. Though I have been nearly zapped a few times plugging in the clothes iron. It nearly always flashes.

I get anxious at just about everything. It really sucks. Not to mention the fact I have OCD as well, at times it can feel like you can't win with yourself. There's not a lot I can do without intrusive thoughts. The only thing that really helps is to push through it and force myself to do things. I plug things in everyday and never get shocked, but yet still I have this fear that one day I will, and I obsess over that. I'm not going to pretend to understand why my mind works that way, but it does.

I used to be way worse honestly, but I still have really bad days. Honestly it helps for me to laugh and find the funny side of things, and try not to let it get me down. I don't mind you finding it funny, it even sounds dumb to me when I type it out. I'd let you use my brain for a bit if I could, just so you could see all the ridiculously small things I worry about.

That has been the theme of 2019 for me actually. I've done a lot of sh*t I wouldn't have ever dreamed of doing a few years ago, I've noticed it's definitely making a difference. When you force yourself to do something more, you get more used to it. The anxiety never fully goes away, I don't ever expect it to either, but you can tell yourself that you've done it before, so you can do it again. When I go out now, I get really anxious beforehand and then I'm okay once I'm where I need to be. I just really hate all the build-up.

You know what's funny? Seeing people admit to being so f*cking shallow by being silent or apologetic about the illegitimate coup in Bolivia, despite comfortably vocalizing their low-key racist views about China and Hong Kong for weeks on end.

Probably because the CIA didn't touch their video games.
