My anxiety is more social and performance related. I just can't imagine getting anxiety from that. Not belittling. Okay maybe a little. Though I have been nearly zapped a few times plugging in the clothes iron. It nearly always flashes.

I get anxious at just about everything. It really sucks. Not to mention the fact I have OCD as well, at times it can feel like you can't win with yourself. There's not a lot I can do without intrusive thoughts. The only thing that really helps is to push through it and force myself to do things. I plug things in everyday and never get shocked, but yet still I have this fear that one day I will, and I obsess over that. I'm not going to pretend to understand why my mind works that way, but it does.

I used to be way worse honestly, but I still have really bad days. Honestly it helps for me to laugh and find the funny side of things, and try not to let it get me down. I don't mind you finding it funny, it even sounds dumb to me when I type it out. I'd let you use my brain for a bit if I could, just so you could see all the ridiculously small things I worry about.

Don't worry, everybody can recognize you with that big middle-finger over the umbrella.

You gotta get uncomfortable and fight through it. It's f*ckin tough.

That has been the theme of 2019 for me actually. I've done a lot of sh*t I wouldn't have ever dreamed of doing a few years ago, I've noticed it's definitely making a difference. When you force yourself to do something more, you get more used to it. The anxiety never fully goes away, I don't ever expect it to either, but you can tell yourself that you've done it before, so you can do it again. When I go out now, I get really anxious beforehand and then I'm okay once I'm where I need to be. I just really hate all the build-up.

You know what's funny? Seeing people admit to being so f*cking shallow by being silent or apologetic about the illegitimate coup in Bolivia, despite comfortably vocalizing their low-key racist views about China and Hong Kong for weeks on end.

Probably because the CIA didn't touch their video games.

Evo Morales was naturally popular with 10% in the lead of the next candidate. Whether if the election was “rigged” or not is inconsequential because he was open for re-elections, but we instead have a military coup that is backed by the United States, carried out by religiously fanatic fascists who despise the indigenous to the point of murder and lynching, all while being hailed as “democracy” by self-absorbed liberals such as yourself. Because yes, nothing says democracy like an authoritarian shakedown of a foreign government that refused to sell valuable natural resources (like lithium) a few days ago to Europe. And Latin America has a long standing history of sh*t like this happening for over a century now, with liberals defending each atrocity with a passion.

I would ask that you watch this if you’d rather not read my post.

A 10% lead in an election where both the voting system and the electoral register have been rigged in his favour is totally meaningless.

Let's put aside the fact Morales even running in this election is a violation of Bolivian constitutional law.

This sort of logic is frankly absurd. Even putting aside the fact Morales put forward no timetable for a rerun of the election, why would anyone in their right mind trust his party and government to do an honest job of it given the systemic corruption in the last run? To describe this as "inconsequential" is bewildering.

We absolutely don't, though. Even if the military had a role in forcing Morales to stand down- and there's no actual evidence to suggest they did- it would fall far short of a coup by any accepted definition of the term.

Instead of straw men and ad hominems, why don't you post some actual evidence to support your allegations? I hope you can do better than simply parroting the rhetoric of a roundly incoherent YouTube video.

I don't know why people on the left are so eager to whitewash the Chinese violations of the Joint Declaration and the persistent campaign of state surveillance and harassment that had been conducted against HK over the last decade.

That's probably because they fear and 'respect' China rather than any pious pretense about human rights.

I don't tend to go much for true crime. I like sciences, psychology, philosophy. That sort of thing. The last thing I used a credit on was a short audiobook called It Burns which goes into the history of competitive chili eating.

The worse part is when they recognize you but you haven’t a clue who they are so you sensitive next 10 minutes in a awkward conversation and only thing you can think of..... Who the f*ck are you?

I must have a expression that says that because after a while they pick up on it and say You don’t know who I am do you?

I rarely use Facebook and even when Ivdo I don’t bother looking at pictures posted so I’m not aware on how much some have changed in the last 15 years while I still pretty much look the same

Thats what I did with my remaining credits, bought some kids books for my youngest to listen too as she likes to be read too as she falls asleep

Nope, I am childless. I might hang onto them in case I discover a series I want to binge. My wife is currently slowly making her way through ASOIAF. Every morning she takes a shower and listens to some of it.

Yeah, I've had that happen. I'm actually really good with remembering people's faces, but not their names. So there has been a couple of cases where I DO remember someone, but it's an awkward exchange because I'm not saying their name and it doesn't even feel like we're catching up because we likely never talked in School and only saw eachother in classes or in the corridor.

That happened a couple months ago when I went to get a car wash, the girl recognized me from high school but I was saying in my head "Damn, I know I've seen her before but I can't pair a name to the face." Probably kind of bad since we had each other for a class for almost every year since 6th grade. To be fair she was a little better looking and thinner than I remembered.

Yeah, a lot of people have changed a ton since School. Combine that with make-up, different haircuts, tattoos, piercings and whatnot, and sometimes it's hard to recognise people. I couldn't believe how different some people look now. It's especially mind blowing when they have kids with them, and I can't fathom how people are having kids already.

Then you have myself, and I look the exact same way I did like 10 years ago, aside from the fact I'm a bit taller and have facial hair a lot of the time now. I looked really different when I was a kid, a lot more chubbier as well, and then since my teens I've basically looked the same way.

I feel bad for those who are just trying to make a few bucks selling something and fall for these scammers because they don’t know how these apps/selling sites are suppose to work (I.e The buyers paying through the app)

96294b4d7bbd78cc12b0d49d8d2da7d7.png

What they do is they’ll either send money via a fraudulent/hacked PayPal account and when the real owners spot it and report it the money is reversed but not before the seller has already shipped out the item

or they’ll get the sellers address so they can mail the “payment” and the seller will receive a bad check and again won’t find out until after they’ve shipped the item

It's the first time I see something like this and one day me and my coworkers we were just watching them the boss guy or supervisor had on a jean jacket and looked like some angry dude shouting orders lol.
