Oh. The worst I could do was kick and ban, but I never banned anyone just for lols, I'm not that bad. That was reserved for twats.

I use to mod on this local car forum and the other mods, would do some petty ass sh*t, a lot of permanent avatar and signature changes would happen.

I used to be an operator/mod on a Minecraft server back in the day, and I never abused my power. Well, okay maybe a few times. Muting people for five minutes for no reason or teleporting them across the map was kind of fun.

I've modded a few things and I admin a facebook group and I -only- abuse my power. Sorry Jessica, you're in too many tupperware groups, you're not getting in.
I like to honeypot but it's even more fun to just ban people

god, i'd be a magnificent dictator

Is "slap" the new thing kids to way to say something is good? I've seen it a bit the last couple days.

"I love it. It really slaps." Where do these things come from?

Given that his "executive time" consists of yelling at random people on Twitter, I think it's pretty interesting actually.

Maybe he should do some f*cking work for a change. Or not. Personally, I'm happy with him doing nothing for most of his day. The less time he has to try and push through his piss poor legislative agenda the better.

Not so funny when people who clearly speak fluent English choose to communicate in some sort of broken dialect using deliberately misspelled words, mixed-up sentence structure, and what ultimately appears to be an attempt at speaking English as a 'Foreign person'.

I think that makes your post ironical, it's an ironicalism or an iconoclasticism possibly even an ironicoliclasticism.

You know you've reached a turning point in life when you start to believe that the Internet should be more heavily policed and regulated with the worst offenders being taken to task.

And no, I'm not talking about Nonces or people selling weapons grade plutonium or all manner of other horrible sh*t to the highest bidder, there's a bigger scourge out there...........

Yes, you guessed it, I'm talking about Clickbaiters, something has to be done about the Clickbaiters Marty, the Clickbaiters have got to go , they're everywhere, they're even in pawrn (adult entertainment LOL censored) and I can't have that in my life. I don't have time for that bullsh*t.

I consider you to be one of the more refreshingly eloquent and educated voices on these forums, so I’m a bit surprised with your comment.

I’ve seen quite a few ignorant people say things like this, and that’s cool. Most of the media doesn’t report what the US president and his administration have done legislatively. So I can give the ignorant a hard pass. But, you’re a different breed. You’re likely fully aware of what his administration has accomplished. It really makes me question if you’re taking things more in an emotional level instead of a factual one. Which surprises me, honestly. I’ve always seen you base your arguments in fact.

In the infinitesmally small chance you didn’t know what he’s done so here’s a list (albeit a bit dated).

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/washington-secrets/trumps-list-289-accomplishments-in-just-20-months-relentless-promise-keeping

I know you’re not from the US, and I respect that we’re both products of our experiences; yours and mine probably couldn’t be more different. I am ultimately very curious why you would make such a statement.

If you could give me a handful of unrelated items on the above list that you are against, and tell me why you are against it, I’m all ears. I’d love to see someone like you, who is always fact based, and writes so well, give me examples, and explain to me how the current US president’s legislation, since election, has been “poor” and (paraphrasing) “lazy”. Very curious.

Btw, if you want to take this elsewhere, feel free to post a link so we don’t crowd this channel with chopping it up politically.

Most of the things that Trump-supporting media outlets have claimed credit for aren't even Republican legislative products, much less anything the Executive could be seen as responsible for. Take trade and the economy, for instance. Growth in the US economy has simply followed a trajectory it was already on before Trump's inauguration; largely due to the fact that pretty much nothing has changed vis-a-vis economic policy. In fact, the meagre contributions that the Executive has made- which pretty much solely consist of starting one full-blown trade war and threatening several others- have done significantly more harm than good. in fact, I would go as far as to say that the overwhelming majority of the "accomplishments" listed in that article have exactly nothing to do with the Trump administration, with the possible exception of seeing Trump sign off on legislation that was either already on the books or that he had no part in drafting.

If you look at delivery on actual campaign promises, as opposed to "things that happened during the Trump presidency which he has subsequently claimed credit for", his record is substantially less impressive.

Tax reform? Delivered.

Israeli embassy move? Delivered.

Withdrawal from the Paris climate deal? Delivered, though it's hard to argue that one is any kind of objective "success".

Defeating IS? Pretty successful, but not entirely delivered.

Withdrawal of troops from the Middle East? Conflicted; he's withdrawn troops from certain nations whilst increasing the tempo of covert operations in others.

Trade deal reform? TPP withdrawal but "not-NAFTA" is basically identical to NAFTA, and starting a trade war with China was frankly idiotic.

The ban on Muslim immigration? Pretty much up in the air.

Repeal of Obamacare? Certain bits have been affected but the core legislative framework is still in place and basically unchanged.

Reversing the Cuba deal made by Obama? Lots of talk, no notable action.

The Mexico border wall? Nothing of note progressed.

Deportation of illegal immigrants? Very little progress; total figures still well below Obama era peak.

Infrastructure projects? Little progress.

My read on that Examiner article is that it's basically an attempt at a Gish Gallop- to present so many different "positive" claims that it becomes nigh-on impossible to refute them all, even though very few of them have anything to do with Trump, many are just "proposals" and others are the same idea repeated with subtle rewording, or "sub-successes" under a larger overarching "success". Reinforced by the fact the the Examiner has subsequently run Trump press releases as editorials without any regard to their factual accuracy.

Hmmm nice bike

I really hope not. Even if they're considered in-style, that's one thing I won't wear. My grandfather would wear fedoras back when they were fashionable, but it's just a look that I don't think has come back and actually looked good outside of the 1940s. It even looked goofy on Chi-Chi in Scarface during the chainsaw scene, and I otherwise loved the outfits in that movie.
