That feel when everyone's walking around in branded clothing, tons of accessories and even dyed hair, but you're good with a plain jacket and grey hoodie.
The only unnecessary accessory i can take is some scarf. I love scarves.

Meanwhile, where I am, it's so f*cking hot that I'm basically left figuring out what's the least-heavy short sleeve shirt or t-shirt I've got.

 

I was never big on clothing that had giant versions of their manufacturer's logos on them. I can understand things like hats or sneakers being branded, or in some cases, jackets or hoodies having a small logo on them somewhere, but not entire outfits covered in logos. Depending on what jacket it is, a plain jacket with a hoodie will look great. Scarves are great, too, I really don't like having my neck uncovered when it's cold, so for me they're not unnecessary at all.

Nice jacket, Dallas I have to say, I always did like the look of crew outfits in the Alien films, even in the prequels. Not too outlandishly futuristic, just unique variations on clothes we already have now.

 

Also, I did like the Weyland Industries baseball cap Idris Elba wore in Prometheus at the end.

All the Alien movies have some nice duds. I'm actually thinking of making something like this soon, since I already have the patches for it.

Go for it, you can probably find a similar jacket at a military surplus place, unless it's custom made I'm sure somewhere will have something similar. I actually have the exact jacket that one of the pilots in Prometheus wore.

It's by G-Star, got it on sale, and it's actually a really nice jacket. Plus, if I ever went to Comic Con, just throw a Weyland logo and ship patch on it and I'm good to go.

 

I also saw this guy's hoodie at a high end department store in London.

But it cost like $400. Too much money for a hoodie, and probably the weirdest looking hoodie I've seen. But if I was rich I wouldn't give a sh*t.

The stuff they wore in Covenant was mainly smock jackets and anoraks, easy to find, unless it's summer. Speaking of which, I ran into some concept art from Blomkamp's cancelled movie, looks alot like something from The Expanse.

The Covenant clothing did seem like it would be easy to find given how basic a lot of it was. I noticed the All Saints ram on one of the crew's hoodies, but it's a normal-looking hoodie and literally any green hoodie would be a good substitute. And the quilted jackets that Daniels and Oram wore on the ship looked close enough to Barbour jackets. The outfits in Prometheus felt a lot more stylized, but it still looked good.

 

Too bad the Blomkamp Alien sequel never got made. I like the look of the spacesuit, as well, it looks bulky like the original films (and like how Covenant had) but still modern, unlike Prometheus where their spacesuits were slim-fit with helmets that looked straight out of a 1960s vision of the future. The concept art for that film had ones that looked just like they did in Alien, but they probably wanted something that looked better on film that the actors could run around in easily. I guess making things easier to do is also why the Engineers were basically just bodybuilders with pale skin instead of this freakish thing that they came up with in early development.
