Last night while making brownies I was using a butter knife to see if the middle was finished. I stuck it in and slid it out and only a little bit stuck to my knife. That means it's all but done. Anyway, I saw that delicious-looking sliver of brownie batter and without thinking I put the knife to my tongue to taste it, only to immediately lose feeling in an area equivalent to the surface area of the butter knife. What I'm saying is that I'm stupid.

 

My pot roast came out absolutely breathtaking, though.

Not a single cigarette yesterday. Instead of smoking one, I made a sh*tpost in The Pit.

 

Those pills do play a big factor as they take care of the withdrawal synthomps but that 5 minute void of doing nothing instead of smoking when taking a break still remains.

i tried it yesterday, i think it tastes like soy sauce mixed with teriyaki. Its not BAD but its not GREAT either

And all of those people who clogged up a bunch of McDonald's and flipped their sh*t about it when stores ran out. I think there was a guy at one McD's who had a packet and he was actually selling chicken nuggets dipped in it for like $10 or something and people actually bought it.

I've started automating my house so I've seriously been looking at Alexa Show so I can put everything in one spot instead of having a seperate screen for my nest security camera, apps for my nest thermostat and front door and lights when all of that stuff can be moved to one centralized location with the Show

Echo Dot and no, nothing beyond it and a Bluetooth speaker, but the light bulbs look pretty cool. I'm looking into a show for my bedroom and another dot for upstairs.

 

Very useful for morning weather when getting the kids ready, news and music. Also fun little skills for nerds like me; can make red alert happen, fire weapons, bridge sounds...

Some days with the pain I have it's hard for me to get around so being able to tell Alexa to unlock the front door, show me the camera's or turn off the lights would great.

 

Next thing on my list is a doorbell that works with Alexa such as being able to see who's at the door and ect, I have a Ring doorbell right now and able to do that from my phone but sometimes I don't always get an alert notfication so I miss it with Alexa it'll grab my attention better.

 

Although Alexa does support my Ring Doorbell the reviews have said it's worthless as by time the picture comes up the person would have walked away by then so hopefully they'll fix it by time I order one

Was about to go bed this morning (3am- my sleep patterns are all over the place) and my neighbour underneath me thought it was a good idea to listen to something that sounded like Glee at full wack. It was enough for me to actually go knock on his door and risk a punch in the face than listen to that sh*t. He didn't answer so I just yelled through his letterbox that I was trying to sleep. Turned it down 10 minutes later.

 

Still complained to my landlord though.
