They have noone to fight against, maybe LiveLeak or DailyMotion, but they're tiny compared to YouTube. Whatever YT does it will stay on top.

 

And I just feel like things are too big now, like thumbnails and stuff.

He's right, The comment section on news stories are the best place to find the best comments from dipsh*ts especially on the New York Daily News Facebook Page, It's full of Trump Eliteist and Racist on both sides of the aisle blacks and whites and i've seen some really bad comments but none have really upset me like the ones from this guy

His comment had 300 + replies every one of them were from people calling him out or simply calling him names my favorite reply by far was....Some village in India is missing their idiot.

as for the old youtube, ehh i've been on there since 06 and while it seems like it used to be better out of some ill sighted nostalgia realistically now you have an essentially unlimited plethora of content with alot of youtubers now doing content at 4k/8k/etc, no doubt the layouts have changed over the years but right now it's the simplest it's ever been (homepage wise) - I think channel layouts peaked at 2010 when you could just create a crazy background in PS and upload it.
