I just watched the trailer for that new Ghostbusters movie.. Bugger me, I wish this would stop. Remakes. We don't need any more remakes and we don't need anymore rehashed superhero movies (I'm looking at you Marvel). DC has always done it better, I have high hopes for Suicide Squad.

 

Why did their need to be a Ghostbusters remake though? There was nothing wrong with the original.

Awh come on. Marvel films are the cheesiest mess. Most comics should stay in comic book form, but Marvel takes it further than DC in terms of sh*tty-ness. I want to make it clear, I strictly mean the film adaptations, not the comics themselves.

 

E.g. The Thor films are horrific whereas Watchmen (and most of the Batman films) were pretty good.

Most of them are terrible. It's just a cash grab on "geek" culture for the film industry that's even worse than AAA is for gaming. If you're easily entertained by whiz-bang CG and shallow characters, I suppose it's OK. Obviously someone is watching them or there wouldn't be so many. There are a few that are good but the rest are crap.

Really having some neurological related visual problems lately. First visual snow then these weird afterimage like spots in my vision that come randomly. Typically when you see abnormalities in your vision it's with one eye as they're both different and if they both have similar issues it's still not exactly the same. I close one eye and then the other and see the same ass grain patterns. Do so again and see the same spots in the same exact places not moving a bit. Like, what is this?

That's not the worst of it. The studio actually had to get the original cast, except Harold (RIP) just to promote the f*cking film on the talk shows in Murica. They got the original singer to play for the audience and get all of the cast both new and old to dance. f*cking ridiculous. That's how desperate Sony and the producers are.

idk too me all DC has that was good was The Dark Knight series. yeah marvel movies are more "kiddie" but there are more marvel movies i would watch a 2nd time then i would DC..
