In 2011, a website stated that you have fifteen days to return tech products at Walmart. I don't know if that still counts for 2017 and I don't know how these things goes in the United States of America or the place you live in but here, if you have the receipt you can just bring the product back if you aren't satisfied with the quality and if you show the receipt they will either give you a gift card or a full refund. Wow, I don't know if that's either genius for finding and abusing a loophole like that or sad because a box of Lucky Charms isn't that expensive. Some stores can be very difficult when it comes to buyers remorse, though. In my country there are specific laws that companies need to follow regarding buyers remorse and returning products, but companies often make it already harder than it is. My step father once bought us a brand new PS2, there were still controllers with cables and once someone walked against the cables and the cable dragged the PS2 onto the floor. It was broken but fortunately he could get a new one from the store, although it was very hard for him to get a new console because at that time the console was very, very expensive and the store didn't want to give him a new one first.
