Eh, it's okay, I know what I did and now I know what they're looking for. I can drive quite well but for the test they want everything turned up to 100. They want to see me really looking in the mirrors like they hold the secrets to life itself. The only thing I'm sore about is cost - it was £60 for each test booking, which mounts up if you fail even once. I'm not exactly hard up but it's money I'd rather spend elsewhere... like the running of a car when I eventually get one.

 

Can't have one without the other. I'm not too sore.

Little tips (not sure if helps or not. oh well...):

- Adjust the seats and mirrors as soon as you enter the vehicle, even if they are correct for you.

- Look in the mirrors every 5-10 seconds.

- Only take your hands off the wheel to change gears and use the handbrake.

- Always be aware of your surroundings. Since they want to see you look around and stuff, make that clear. Don't just stare dead fowards, look a bit to the sides of the road (as in trying to see signs), look to the road itself, etc.

- Focus 100% on driving, forget about the instructor or that you're in a test. Stress makes everything 100x harder.

These are nice some tips. Spot on When i passed my permit test back when i was 17 (still a senior in highschool) I remember having this pretty chill dude. His attitude was so grate. Probably the nicest driving instuctor i had. I was still nervous as sh*t either way Not everyone gets lucky though. My sister had a really strict female instructor and didn't pass until the third try.

actually if you get busted for weed, here in VA the first time (a couple ounces or less), they offer you to do probation for 6 months and classes and then they will drop the charge off your record or you can pay a fine and be on your way

Here in Philadelphia the fine for having an ounce (or below) is cheaper than if you are smoking a cigarette in the wrong place. $200-$300 for a cigarette. An ounce of weed or less is like a parking ticket. $25 and no mark on your record. Note:they do take your weed though.

On a serious note though, speaking of it, i do think having vacations at sea are overrated.

 

Man, if i would get my drivers license tomorrow....or if not...heck....let's just say that if i ever get a day off and the weather is great the o so overrated Belgian coast can f*ck off and i will be taking a trip into the other direction.

I wish that people were more kind towards others. Or at least cared more about others their feelings. It feels like a lot of people are so toxic, they always drag people or act mean towards others while I think that it would be more hopeful to help and lift each other up, instead of keeping to push people down. And almost one year ago, I was walking through a city and randomly a group of people were giving ice cream to everyone. And not just that cheap stuff, just normal ice cream. When they asked me if I wanted ice-cream, I just got silent. I didn't know what to say, they asked me again in English because they thought I didn't understand them. I was so surprised that it happened to me, those moments stick with me. I wish it happened more, but then not with food or gifts, just random acts of kindness.

Meh...i've honestly been there...trying to be nice to everyone, and though i still admire people that still do that i pretty much found out most people abuse that kindness.

 

Borrowing money for it to be never seen again, doing favors like helping people with making drawnings only to be mocked and being talked about behind my back by most, supporting friends and keeping up to support them only to be pretty much dropped by them just because i do not compare with them a lot once they grew older, trying to even come between infighting in class once only to have everyone be mad towards me.

 

Yea...let's say i do not make those kind of mistakes again.

 

Luckely pissing off people that deserve it can be fun to i found out.

I just learned that the legendary comedian Don Rickels passed away. For people close to my age, we mostly know him as Mr. Potatohead from the Toy Story movies. He was even in the process of making another Toy Story movie when he passed away. Another legend gone.

Very few people actually will go out of their way to help others in need, i think often because they're worried about being taken advantage of, but a simple acknowledgement, whether it be a casual greeting, or even a little nod of the head, can go a long way to helping put some cheer into someone's day.

I've always lived by the motto of treating others the way that I'd like to be treated, and trying to turn the other cheek when someone's being an ass.. but sometimes thats much easier said than done. Empathy is seen as weakness by too many individuals nowadays.

Yes, definitely. Or just a simple compliment, I once walked through a store and saw someone with very pretty hair, it was colored and her hair looked amazing, so I talked with her a bit and I gave her a random compliment.

You actually don't need to be nice to everyone, when people treat you like sh*t, you can still ignore them or something.
