Yer I aint been here long but after taking selfies this is a close 2nd on the boredom buster scale at times simply because it's something that interests me.

I have the implant in my arm and it should've been taken out last month (I've had it in for three years) but I don't have the balls to get it removed because it's not in the same place, plus I was very underweight when I had it put in and now I'm bigger, you can't feel it.

The doctor said it'd be a difficult removal so I'd have to make sure I had a chunk of time free for him to do it.

 

I don't want to have them digging around in my arm. I've seen how it's done with other women whose implants have embedded themselves deep in their arm and it's awful.

I was warned about it not working, possibly making me a little ill but I was never told it could move or become embedded.

 

I want it out but I'm too scared.

Holy f*ck! I never knew about any of that. Doesn't help you but I'm glad I never opted for that back in the day. Wasn't it only meant to be 2 years though? Might have changed since I looked into it though that was a long time ago. At the end of the day it'll need to come out chick, it'll be doing more damage staying in place most likely, get in, get it out, then you can forget about it But I confess I'd be more sh*t scared getting it out. I can do ink and piercings but for some reason, doctors and needles, yuk!

I tend to pass out when I have blood taken, so naturally I'm frightened of the removal.

I have Nexplanon, I think that's somehow different to the old ones they used (Implanon). I know it needs to come out my Mom keeps telling me the same thing. I don't think I'll ever put anything else in my body that has even the tiniest chance of affecting fertility or my weight. It's not worth it in my opinion. If I'd have known back then what a hassle it'd be, I'd have said no to it.

Yeah I got told all the ins and outs of it and ended up saying nah wasn't worth the fertility issues, ended up being infertile anyways so in retrospect it made f*cking no difference in the long term anyways which is a pisser but heyho.

 

I always get asked to make appointments to have bloods done and I just don't bother, take more vitamins and prey to Imhotep that everything will be fine

These implants are really tiny right? like the size of a piece of rice maybe a little bigger?

 

I'm sure by now it's stopped working correct?

 

So what would be the harm of just keeping it in? Doctors leave bullets inside people all the time because of the body natural healing properties in fact i have a piece of loose metal in my back right near my spinal cord and it's too close to the cords not to mention it's quite small so it's too dangerous to attempt to get it out so they just left it in and it eventually built a wall around it to keep it in place The body amazing @ what it can do, It's very effective in encasing foreign objects as a natural reaction to anything foreign entering your body it will send it's soldiers to encircle it and encase it to prevent it from harming the body.

 

So if it's deep as your doctor think it might be a viable option might be to leave it inside and just monitor it, As long as it's not near the heart or any major blood highways leaving it in might be a viable option.

Yup. But you really don't wanna restart it because you'll lose your stuff you collected on this playthrough. I know it all too well.

only time was my first witcher 3 play, because i got the worst possible ending, after 150hrs of gameplay to get the worst possible ending was a huge bummer.

This time it came courtesy of a strategy game i like to play i've played every year Emergency 2012 - 2017 and in the ones between 2012-2015 i always knew when the end was here because the end would be a big finale but the 2016/2017 version which i played all at once with the 2017 version.

 

The 2016/2017 version instead of dotting it with several big jobs and then a period of regular emergency calls in the 2016/2017 version they changed it up to medium size scenarios with some big scenarios sprinkled around.

 

In the 2015 one the finale was that Obama & Merkel helicopter was shot down and you had to rescue them, treat them and the other that were hurt, put out a bunch of fires, catch the terrorist the ending in the 2016/2017 one the finale was a simple run of the mill scenario which didn't give you any clue that it was the final scenario i drove the trucks to the camp and got my gold medal and then the credits started rolling.

 

So it was anti-climactic and pretty short compared to the others

Eh, it's okay, I know what I did and now I know what they're looking for. I can drive quite well but for the test they want everything turned up to 100. They want to see me really looking in the mirrors like they hold the secrets to life itself. The only thing I'm sore about is cost - it was £60 for each test booking, which mounts up if you fail even once. I'm not exactly hard up but it's money I'd rather spend elsewhere... like the running of a car when I eventually get one.

Little tips (not sure if helps or not. oh well...):

- Adjust the seats and mirrors as soon as you enter the vehicle, even if they are correct for you.

- Look in the mirrors every 5-10 seconds.

- Only take your hands off the wheel to change gears and use the handbrake.

- Always be aware of your surroundings. Since they want to see you look around and stuff, make that clear. Don't just stare dead fowards, look a bit to the sides of the road (as in trying to see signs), look to the road itself, etc.

- Focus 100% on driving, forget about the instructor or that you're in a test. Stress makes everything 100x harder.
