I'm still a scrub lord on the forum so what I have to say in that regard doesn't amount to much but I think the occasional maymay/sh*tpost isn't too bad; sometimes you just want to joke around and post a joke image or a reaction vid or w/e but when it devolves into whole pages of such content it can get tiresome and annoy.

It's all about context. Personally, I don't mind an occasional image reply if it's on point and actually funny. It becomes a problem when we get half a page of low effort replies, though. It's OK if this thread is a little lazier than the rest because that's really what it's here for. Just don't get carried away with it.
