I feel so old. I have been here for nearly three years. The way I see it, GTAF is like an extremely disfunctional family. Kristy and the other Admins are the old grandparents trying to guide us through life, the mods are the parents, (though I think they are all guys not sure how that works) staff are the crazy uncles, and us members.. the kids.

I got invited in for a lemon cake, and just like anyone who gets giddy when he hears the word cake, I instantly accepted.

 

So, here I am, eating my lemon cake, and for some reason it has never occurred to me that it would be sour and actually taste like lemon. Like, I expected it to be something different, and I don't know why.

 

Why does my common sense not work when it's supposed to?

I've only had shop bought lemon cake and that's sweet rather than sour, if it was homemade there probably wasn't enough sugar put in leading it to be a bit tart in taste.
