I wish the feelings thread was still here but this'll do.

I always get soppy this time of year about my family. It's the little things, like me, Mom and my Grandpah (occasionally Nana but she's too cool) would spend hours playing on my Grandpah's PS1 when I was young.

 

Me and my Grandpah had such intense battles playing Tekken and Crash Bandicoot, years and years spent playing games with my Grandpah more than anyone. Lending each other games, trying to outdo eachother.

I mean, I'm really glad I have the family I have. I may only have four members but they are the best of the best.

 

It was my Great Grandpah who bought me my first ever console, the small PS1. I don't think many people can say their Great Grandpah did that. I only recently learnt how important family is and I feel like I've wasted time being a miserable, angry c*nt instead of being grateful.

Same here tbh, a couple years ago, I didn't interact with barely anyone in my family, barely went to see them and I was constantly f*cking sad and had no idea why.

 

Now I live for this time of year, I cherish christmas not even for presents anymore, I just love sitting in my aunts front room surrounded by family. I don't even have to be talking to anyone, I just like being around family.
