No matter what you say, no matter what you do, there will always be some sceptical of females who hold a passionate interest in this game, community, or any game or gaming community for that matter. It's much like the experiences within the actual game itself--people either automatically assume that you're male (primarily when you win against them) or that you're just an easy gamer girl who is willing to hook up (even if you live more than 5,000 km away and in a different country) and that you enjoy and welcome receiving perverted, bullsh*t messages in the process.

 

For the in-game sceptics, you can speak up on your mic and prove them wrong, but you'll mostly find that some still will not believe you; some will make it a point to target you in an aggressive manner; some will slobber at the feet of your avatar as if they were unwashed dogs awaiting their weekly feeding; or (mostly in rare cases) some will step out and extend a basic sense of respect for being part of the game/community and perhaps even having the courage to place yourself within such an environment.

 

It's a game dominated with males under the age of 25, so I suppose some can justify their scepticism with such reasons and deductions. Personally, I don't know you specifically or what you may have said to trigger all of this, but don't let it get you down. People will believe what they want to believe, and you could be male, you could be female; I don't know, but why it should even matter is another story entirely. This isn't a bloody dating site, so if you are in fact a male pretending to be female, it isn't as if it is going to ruin someone's life, day, or even future expectations. If people don't like you, if people don't believe you, f*ck it; it's simply not worth worrying about. Just be yourself and carry on. You can't please or gain the acceptance of everyone, and that's just the way the world works as a whole.

She's a little sh*t. Not in the cute way either, we're having to take her to a vet recommended trainer. She started attacking the middle dog, snarls at everyone who she walks by and loses her temper if we try to stop her from misbehaving.

We love her but she's a complete nob. Just hoping the trainer will help. I sound like I'm making a fuss over it but she is on another level of difficult, it's exhausting.

Maybe it transfers from the game.

You get so many guys catfishing in GTAO and then brag about it here (not in gen, I've only ever seen it in the online section), so now I guess it's a widely accepted notion that most 'female' players are not in fact female players.

 

The paranoia is understandable, I didn't get it at first either but it doesn't really matter anyway.

I've decided to grow an ironic handlebar mustache.* Problem is, my facial hair grows in all patchy so I have the full stache but only a few scraggly hairs connecting it to the--much thicker--hair along my jawline. So basically, I just have a mustache and two patches of hair on either side of my chin. It looks like trash. It's brilliant.

Good times they were. However, as fun as they were, those members' bannings were obviously an open and shut case of transphobia. I mean, obviously. Bloody bigots, I tell ya.

 

I'm a little pissed off ATM. I've been using this aftershave given to me from an associate last Christmas. The aftershave is called Aramis Life, 50ml. Now, I'd never heard of it, and just assumed it was some budget aftershave, despite how surprisingly nice it smelled. I purchased a bottle/casing/whatever of Paco Rabanne a few months ago of which I've always thought was a pretty bloody expensive aftershave. Since then, I've been applying the Abramis Life, willy nilly, thinking it was some cheap sh*te, and preserving the Paco Rabanne. This evening, I decided to randomly check up on Amazon how much a bottle of the Abramis goes for. Jesus f*cking Christ. I could've gotten twice the volume of Rabanne for what the Abramis costs, and I've been spraying the latter on me as if it was some cheap anti-perspirant. Suffice to say, I'm currently ridden with guilt for not acknowledging, more gratefully, what this fellow paid for as a Xmas gift.

 

Anyone else experienced similar guilts? BTW, I quite like Christmas, and its traditions.
