Playing online with "disbaled" addon-cars?

Hello,

 

this is my first post and i hope i am right here. I also hope i can share and explain my point. I am german so i am also sorry for eventually gramar mistakes.

 

 

I am asking all this, because i like to mod offline but also want to play online with friends ( and i hate to switch between modded and original files). At the moment i am good with ASI mods wich are disabled online trough Scripthook. I wonder, if this also works with cars. Well, i know it wont work that way because scripthook is not for cars.

 

But what about: Addon-cars? As far as i know, they are not replacing cars. So no GTA-related file in that way would be modified. I know that addon cars are loaded trough some XML file wich points to the car files. I also know that some DLC cars are excluded from GTA online (like Duke o' Death). So if the GTA Servers have like some black or whitelist, the "custom addon-cars" would not be loaded.

The only file that has to be modified (still, as far as i know) is this XML file.

 

 

Again: i dont want to play online with added cars. I want my fun offline and play "seriously" with my friends online without always swicthing between modded and original files.

I hope you get the point and some devs or persons who are into this can answer my questions.

 

 

Can i play online with disabled "custom addon-cars"?

How does all that addon- thing work?

Are cars excluede through some blacklist?

would i still get banned then?
