has anyone ever done the maths on badsport?

by this I don't mean " like 30 cars and you're in bs" which may be true under some circumstances but there's much more to it than that.

 

don't you PC modders know?

 

the points you get for leaving stuff and destroying cars and the points you lose from doing missions?

also the decay rate of bs points?

 

it would be nice to know, it's unnerving getting the message and irritating having to check your status

 

if I knew that my bs points weren't slowly increasing over time that would be nice.

Never been in badsport but I find it funny when you blow up a PV and get a warning and then the next minute recieve 2000 for good behavior...

I have a shot of the "warning, destroying other player's...bad sport" alert AND the "you got $2000 for good behavior. Keep it up" on-screen at the same time.

I wish you could turn off the warning or reword it.

 

Id rather it said "YATZHEE" everytime i blow up a vehicle.

 

I mean really.. Why am i being a bad sport? Who the f*ck is R* to tell me that blowing up a vehicle is Bad Sport when they don't even know the current situation in a game they made that encourages players to attack each other.

 

Like i have to tip toe through the tulips while the tulips are trying to kill me.

what I'm getting at is does doing one mission cancel out blowing up one car or does doing one mission cancel out 100 cars?

If you live in a Jet (griefer or not) then participate in every freemode event you can. Not only do you get credit and $$$ just for participating but many of them give players already airborne in a jet a huge advantage. In most of them you can get to the objective first to get a substantial head start, and for many of them the Hydra is also the best vehicle to win them with. Even if it's one you can't or don't want to compete in directly, just fly over it to get participation credit. The same goes for any VIP events.

 

I'd like to know if minimal participation gives you the same BS offset as placing or winning an event.

i used a dummy account and entered badsport after just 25cars, on other account took 31, on other took just 17.

 

you have to factor in the kick votes, reports and stuff like that the you dont see, they all add badsport points to your account.

Ive been bs twice, both times i left a crappy dm(one everyone on my team left, leaving me with 20 mins of 5 on 1). But they were both after i caught a report. So if u think somebody reported u be good for a while.

No, just blowing up PVs.

 

Destroyed a car meet on Friday. Blew up around 15 cars or so, probably got the same amount of votekicks and most likely a few reports aswell. Figured I was pretty close so after my net was back on after I got DDOSd (totally worth it ) I destroyed around 10 more cars and around 3 more votekicks. But I became I the Beast for the 5th time in 6 days and I was tired of winning so I went on a big killing spree and after that I was tired and called it a night. Next day I spent my day doing other things in GTA. I was gone all Sunday, so no PVs destroyed in 2 days. Figured I had to start all over again. But Monday I caught 2 guys doing a dupe glitch in a public session (dumbasses) so I started killing them and blowing up any car they brought out. But instead of leaving the session they just went to different garage and I chased them down to 4 different garages lol. Those guys were the definition of dumbassery. But after about 10-12 PVs I was suddenly a BS player

I still have the Dunce cap on my first character, but I accidently put on a cap on my 2nd character so I lost it there
