It has also been Greenlit for future addition to Steam. It is a very deep simulation, starting with your initial survivors landing in their pods and then including everything, from seasons and climate, right down to family issues, relationships, illnesses and death. The game also has three AI 'Storytellers' that handle the myriad random events in different ways, so no game is ever the same and you never know what's next, from lightning igniting a forest fire, plague and fevers afflicting your colonists, to trade caravans arriving, new survival pods crashing and offering new members to join your growing colony, even an off map event causing clouds of toxic Fallout that slowly poison your colonists and crops.... The game already has a growing fanbase and an active modding scene, with the main client including an mod integration system built in. It is like Dwarf Fortress, but not as confusing and difficult to understand, while still remaining tough and challenging to play. Anyone else play this awesome game? Voodoo Posted May 6, 2016 Share Posted May 6, 2016 I remember sinking a ton of hours into this a couple of years back when it was on alpha 5. It's a really engaging and addictive game and the storytellers keep it interesting. I still have some screens of my last colony. Might be time to grab the latest and see what's new.
