Hi everybody, im new in the forum and i am not sure if this post belong here, im sorry for the mistakes in the following text but English is not my native languaje. Let me know your opinion about this:

Here is some ideas for a developement of a "real life simulator/mod" based on GTA . Altought make all of them is a huge amount of work, some this
ideas are already in some games/mods.And some of them if not all them can be added to a future game or mods

First the player can choose a caracter wich is totally "customizable" (gender, color, face, weight/height, hair, tattoos, clothes...) and then start the
game.

The gameplay can be a totally different experience each time due to the choices of the player, every desicion have consequences,
by the choices you make in game you can be a rich or a homeless, a law abiding citizen or a criminal. Lets see this more deeply:

If the player choose to live a normal life, that means the player needs to findd a legal way to get money in order to buy the needs he have: housing,
car/bike/public transport, food, even taxes. The player can choose in a variety of jobs from the classic paramedic ,firefigther, taxi/bus/train
driver or police officer to mailman/deliverly, security ,or even politician or banker, TV reporter , the possibilities are big and some of this are already
playable mods on GTA universe some of them really well developed.

In the other hand the player can choose a crime life or being forced to crime due to different situations such as being fired or dont find job,
poor wages...

In the crime life we can have mainly two sides: Low profile crime or High/specialised crime.

Low profile crime will be the easiest to start in criminal world, this can include from shoplifting, burglary, small shops robbery, car theft, small or
medium gang activity, drug dealer, prostitution/pimp,kidnapping/blackmail, small weapons dealer, contrabandist, looter, fraud, illegal car racing...

In high profile crime we can include drug lords, bank robbers, mafia or other organised crime activity, serial killers...

Also other kind of crimes possible for the player to commit can be drunk or dangerous driving, being naked in public, taking drugs (with the chance of
become an addict) among other criminal activities how dont are related to get money such as assaults or brawling, vandalism, graffiti... or just being
a terroristic maniac as the most of GTA players do

As we choose jobs, we can also choose a crime faction to join or create our own faction or gang with other players and/or IA players, this can be from
bands of robbers , street/biker gangs, organised crime mobs, or even extremist groups or religious fanatics/sects or survivalist maniacs.

If the player choose to join any of the criminal factions , will not start as the boss obviusly, but a low rank member. When the player commit more
crimes , more money and rank he will obtain.

The role of the player can be different with many different tasks depend on the faction he choose, also each factions can have specific events,
goals and missions to play.

For the players who play in role of radical/extremist faction, the goal of these groups is to tear down the government by riots and civil unrests (riots like in real life not the infamous "riot mod" for GTA who is just armed pedestrian shooting all in sight)
destruction of property and sabotage. These factions in the begining use hand to hand weapons like sticks, rocks or homemade weapons such as
molotovs cocktails or homemade bombs. They also can mantain other criminal activities such as robbery in order to get money.
If these groups grow enough in power, money and get better weapons can become a guerrilla faction and eventualy take control over some part of the
city or even the whole map.

The weapons will include hand to hand combat weapons such as sticks or knifes and also firearms , but not weapons like "minigun" or similar
weapons who are not avialable or are almost impossible to find to get a better realistic weapon system. Also the player cant have more weapons
than he can carry in his body or backpack. Big size weapons such as rifles or shotguns must be hidden (inside a bag, car or even under a coat) to avoid
witnesses call the police.

Also, the freedom of choice is not limited to being criminal or not, in that way a police officer can be a dirty cop, a criminal can find a job and
a player who during the daylight is a normal citizen when night falls can become a serial killer. Also in certain situations a player can comit a crime
(like get involved in a fight or breaking speed limit) but that does not mean the player play the role of a criminal.

For avoiding a non-realistic gameplay or indiscriminate carnage such as we can see actually in GTA(specially if we focus in online gameplay) the
following features will be include:

Realistic health: No more "lifebars", the damage will be inflicted as in real life, this means a fist fight will be only a black eye(maybe), but a car crash,
a high level fall, a stab , or such wounds will require medical asistance. That means the player must go to hospital(by his means or if not in ambulance).
Of course being shot 30 times and still alive will be not more possible, 2 or even 1 shot will be enough to get the played dead or seriusly wounded
requiring go to hospital. That makes the player think twice before start shooting or attacking indiscriminately. Can be included the possibility of
once the player dead, loses everything and must start the game with a new character.Because of this, the players will play realistic and carefully.

Realistic Law enforcement: That means for example the player can go to prison, not all crimes requires the same time in prison and also the time in
prison will be not very long for avoiding a boring repetitive gameplay, anyway there is always the chance of scape , to riot, fight or get
involved in other activities inside the prison, also a good behaviour inside prison will result in shorter time imprisoned. Other crimes will not require
imprisonement but paid some money as a fine or being arrest in the police station cells for short time. Prison can be avoided paying money, but the it
will be expensive and for high profile crimes will be prohibitibe. Because of this when the players comit crimes will be carefully to dont get caught (or
killed) and the high risk crimes become a challenge.

The behaving of the police( AI or real players) will be realistic, that means if you comit a crime, even if this crime is blowing up the police station and
nobody see you doing that, this will not result in automaticaly being wanted ,at least not without trying to find you or even some kind of investigation
(this is already happeing in some police mod of GTA 5). Also if someone sees you, or a pedestrian or a CCTV camera take video/pics of you,
the description will be added to the police files and they will start looking for you(not like crazy maniacs shooting in sight as usual in GTA)
The wanted level can be avoided in different ways, for low profile crimes can be enought with change the appearance or clothes, haircut, and also
change the vehicle. For high wanted level this will require more efforts such as changing house, get fake ID papers, or even plastic surgery( the price
of this methods will be expensive in order to avoid players do whatever they want without consequences)

Also the police officers cant go around shooting and killing people as well as trashing cars and property in chases. Every police/civilian/ car or
property destroyed will result in expensive costs. That means if a lot of police cars get trashed in chases(or trashed by criminals as well
the police station get bombed or arson attack) the wages of the players in the role of police officers will decrease. Police officers with can be also
fired or even jailed if kill or beat up people without reasons. Also the use of indiscriminate violence (lethal or not) against the pedestrians( even if they
are criminals) can result in a civil unrest and riots. For that reason, the players in the role of police officers will try to act in a realistic mood. Also the
officers with a high number of sucesful responses and arrests will be promoted and have their wages increased.
The mod LSPDFR can be taken as an example of the kind of features the law enforcerment role can
include.

The use of money will be important in game, wasting money without thinking twice can result in being homeless and poverty.
Also if the home result destroyed by accident, fire or whatever and dont have money to repair or buy a new one you are screwed.
Some places such as banks , shops, warehouses , police stations... or other buildings who can become target for robbery, arson/bomb attack or
other crimes can be secured with alarms, security guards, CCTV and other security systems but this have a cost of course. Some buildings can be
destroyed or damaged and the repair of a great damage will result in a big waste of money.Vehicles and in general all the items we use have a cost
so that makes the player think twice.

Find guns, especially high power firearms will be difficult and expensive, more if we are common citizens or low profile criminals. The players who
had been jailed cannot buy legal firearms due to criminal records. Black market of weapons is available, thus is even more expensive. There is also the
option of theft and robbery on weapon shops or police storage.

The behaving of the IA pedestrians and drivers can be adapted to the player choices and behaving, from supporting you and hiding from cops
(or even help you against them or other enemy) to call the police or even attack you among other various reactions .
Can be possible to some kind of interaction , must be the option of get couple or have sex with other players or IA characters.

The IA will provide random situations and scenarios in the whole map such as car crashes , variety of crimes, natural disasters, accidents, brawls, fires..
and more different events. All this events can be influyent in the player gameplay(for example if play as amember of emergency services and one of
this event requires him) , The IA response to this events will be realistic as well as the consequences.

The car mechanics and physics will be realist, that means need to be repair sometimes, need gas etc, and of course no more driving fast like hell
crashing everyone in the road and nothing happen. Fast driving and crashes will result in seriusly damages to the vehicle, even to the player and
will result in a crime. Also, the price of the vehicles and their repairs will be expensive so the players will avoid crazy driving.

For now is enough, Of course some people will found this of gameplay style kind of boring, is not a full-time frenetic action but looking to the large
amount of GTA mods who proposal realistic or jobs gameplay, the idea of making it all together in one mod (or new game) is not so bad idea, and a lot
of people will found it good.

I always wanted GTA to have realistic mode. Not sure if everyone would be happy with this, but next GTA could have two: Arcade (current) & Realistic modes, which could be switched in the menu.

I'm new to this forum but not to GTA. I'd like to see the new GTA VI feature a map based on, say,a European city or somewhere else.

Also, to keep it a bit more realistic, do away with flying motorbikes and cars. It might also stop some of the griefers out there.

I'm strongly against GTA being realistic, it's not some kind of real life simulator. What you wrote in your post sounds boring and annoying, I have my own life, I don't need second one in game.

Obviously it's not a real life simulator and I too have a life.

I just find flying motorbikes belong in a futuristic game and not in GTA V.

If you find it boring then so be it. It will never be the perfect game for everyone.

No problem. I only read the first few paragraphs in the first post.

I didn't have time for the rest.

It sounds like an extremely detailed RPG but set within the kind of setting that GTA is known for. It also sounds kind of tedious and maybe a bit more complex than it it needs to be

Upon reading this proposal for an intellectual property that is oriented around simulation and full scale realism, my eyes rolled upon on the stanzas with strength... and then I was shook up down deep to the heartbeats with a light coating of water. The feeling took me over and I allowed it to win without any budge from

In much the same way that the Creator will win, if this remarkable feat comprised of many layers of complexities and triviality is built from wishlists that have been vehemently condemned.

I love everything that this idea would stand for, and by my volition... I think  that a sizable quantity of the public would like to tinker with the depths of what an unabashed, realistic  open-world landscape can muster. 🙂 Moreover, I am also of the mindset that many would want to, perhaps, carry out a simulated variant of their real life job/role within pixels and all the realism that encompasses that simulated job/role   (i.e. equipping your unique character with a police uniform/badge, as well as a satchel on which to carry citations and handcuffs, a Motorola walkie talkie for communications, baton, and of course, a holster to store some .45 caliber heat, et cetera ).

The prerequisite for dawning a uniform and the privilege to flash a badge on the bass reppin’ the hood scenes would be to grind through training and have earned stripes via a police training academy. And too much more to count because reality is reality and thus this game would offer a myriad of opportunities and consequences/ramifications... with player choice taking aim at the experience. Opportunity will chase you, and then as you would do so within real life, you will need to contemplate on which side of the spectrum you would like to be: an upstanding capitalist that values arduous labor, albeit the voodoo of taxation, or a soulless schmuck who has a fetish for baclavas and the taint of gunpowder fumes etched all over his/her chances.

As I stated previously, as one of my little conceptual slogans for this mammoth achievement in gaming... this is your world. Do with it what you will; but do not expect that you will not be (excuse the profanity) f*cked up the ego by a reality check. Even if you have scratched deeper than the surface of your purpose; your newfound niche within this simulator, or extinguished the venom that slipped off of the radar. That vanished, because reality is your eyes doing the heavy lifting as oppose to a full user-interface. 🙂

The implementation of an arcade/simulator selector is brilliant in that this would appease the player base in its entirety, and all players would be able to delve into this experience with the degree of intensity and realism at their discretion.

Whilst a real world simulator may not entice every set of eyes, to be honest... you will find at least one element of this experience that will keep your eyes struck for decades whether that would be the map, or pushing a licensed vehicle back onto a main intersection after the steering wheel rounds it axel back to straight. 😮

I've watched quite a bit of GTArp on youtube and I'll admit it looks like it could be fun, with the right community, but I feel like it would get old pretty quickly and wouldn't really translate to a single player experience very well at all.

I'm not opposed to that kind of game existing, or GTA adding a few more realistic features, but the idea of GTA becoming a AAA version of Second Life doesn't appeal to me at all.

The next GTA will feature races to see who can be the first to go transgender, the bunkers will be replaced by safe spaces and you will be fined $1m for anything someone might find offensive.

The higher the cost of a car, the more you will have to pay in fines to AOC.

There will also be no airport as planes will be banned to save the planet.

The LGBT community will shut down any nightclubs that let in straight men.

That should keep the pc brigade happy.
