EternalSeekerX
Hey guys, So The only mods I have so far are explosion mods and I modded the railgun explosion to be undefined (could probably collapse nothingness/spacetime O.o) in singleplayer for sh*ts and giggles at 5 star vs OP tanks. I plan on doing some more modding, but I would like to try to go online. Even though mp files weren't touched at all, does rockstar still flag your account? I also assume private sessions are out of the question? To bad I can't install the game twice :v Edited May 6, 2016 by EternalSeekerX
kk9fan97
They don't seem to ban for mods only used in story mode, but if you don't shut them off before going on to GTA Online (that includes the solo/private session option) the system will more than likely detect it and automatically ban you. Well the explosion and railgun mods changed values in the explosion and explosionf files in the update single player folder! Would these changes be detected? _CP_
Game do a CRC check or MD5, so when any file is changed, V will put you in dolo lobby in Online. Single player is 100% safe.

I assume you mean if I switch to GTO I will be put in a solo lobby? Is there away I can run mods but have them off for online? Also how do people run these modded lobbies in the first place? _CP_
Exactly yes. If you use "mods folder method, just move dinput8.dll and scripthook.dll somewhere else, and your game will read original, untouched files.

I applied the changes directly to the game files instead of the Mod folder created by OpenVI.
