Children are not mature enough to play GTA and not mature enough to get on the internet. Sadly they do both. Especially on this forum.

In Thailand gta is banned because some kid stabbed a taxi driver to death in a copycat murder.

I do not care if some kid shoots a hooker in the head after some underage cybersex. Most kids I came across just won't accept good advice. They insist on fly the hydra, gunship or rescue Swarzmann while they flunk the mission again and again.

 

I got invites enough to do the criminal mastermind. If there was a 12 year old in the crew I always refused to join. ALL attempts and I do mean ALL cm attempts I know with kiddies failed. Failed for very stupid reasons, because they crashed the hydra in another jet or fumbled a grenade, while explicitly been told not to use explosives.

You people have got some nerve. Not only is that hypocritical considering that more than half of this forum played or plays GTA underaged, but you don't know anything about these kid's parents. So don't talk sh*t about them.

 

That's completely beside the point... it's an 18+ game, therefore the only people who should be playing it are those over that age. You're clearly quite happy to condone wrong-doing if you think underage kids should be playing this game, and considering several replies to this thread alone indicate people are fed up by a lack of maturity <squeakers>, I don't think many people would be sorry to see them go.

 

Don't need to know anything about the kids, the parents, personal circumstances, problematic upbringing or anything else that could be a 'contributing factor' - I know the difference between right and wrong, and that's all that matters.

 

It's not like the kids are psychologically impaired to the point where they cannot distinguish from reality and fantasy and right and wrong. Sure, it's an 18+ game, but parents will get it for them, regardless. You have under-age people watching porn and watching 18+ movies all the time. I mean, I was 15 (almost 16) when I got GTA 5, which my mum bought for me, and I went with her. The cashier didn't see anything wrong with seeing me there, and I saw that there were other kids (13 - 16) also getting GTA 5, and I didn't see anyone pull an alarm or anything like that.

 

Then again, why does the fact that kids also play this game affect you in anyway?

It's how kids behave in the game. Most kids under 15 tend to be a load of squeaky c*nts in jets or chrome t20s. The GTAO community would be far better without them.

 

I don't think all 15 year olds have high pitched, pre-teen-like voices, and I don't see why someone having a chrome car annoys you so much to the point where you want them to stop playing. Jets are, well, an in-game vehicle which you can use to kill people with, just like the tank, Buzzard, Savage, Valkyrie, Turreted Limo, Insurgent etc. You're playing in a public lobby, and jets are meant to be used as weapon, so expect to get chased and killed.

 

Also, I don't know what chrome T20s and jets have anything to do with kids, as if they're driven by kids, and only by kids, which I don't think is the case. In fact, you're just generalising.

I don't go in each session and do surveys, or automatically assume someone is a kid because of a certain way they've customised their vehicle or specific vehicle they used to kill you with; that's just asinine. I couldn't care less if there was kid in a session, but how would I know he/she's a kid, unless I actually heard them on the mic? If a kid was talking on the mic, why don't you mute them or change your voice chat option to only crew and/or friends?

Easily has to be timing out or droping session just prior to finishing any job/vip work. Doesn't happen as much as it used to, but still very, very, VERY annoying when it does happen.. annoying enough where i have to walk away so i don't smash another ds4. This is definitely equivalent to $50 worth of frustration seeing as it's why i broke the last controller due to RAAAAAAGE.

Don't confuse the GTA community with random kids! - My advice would be join an organised crew who has a means of communication, be it headset, social club or a forum, and NEVER join heists with ranDUMBS - it never turns out well... contact missions are a better bet with random people - as they will all die and you will able to still complete the mission alone in most cases.

So it sounds like you're not having much of an issue with kids then, so why are you so angry with the fact that there are kids on the game as well? Just play the game, mute them and get on with what you're doing. If you're playing heists or missions, and a kid is speaking on the mic, simply mute them; there's only 3 others in the lobby anyway, so it shouldn't be any hassle at all.
