nkjellman
I know that it is two years away, but what do you think we may see for GTA IV's 10th Anniversary? -A mobile port like the past games? Not sure how well mobile devices today could handle GTA IV. It is possible that in 2 years time, they could very well handle it. -A remastered version of GTA IV for PS4, Xbox One, and PC? In my personal opinion (and possibly Rockstar's as well), an HD remaster of the 3d era GTA's would change how they look a lot, to the point where they look nothing like the original. But GTA IV seems more likely. As we know, GTA V's make over still looks like the same game, but the graphics match current standards. Not to mention that GTA IV uses Rage which is what GTA V uses. They would have an easier time enhancing GTA IV. I guess this topic brings up a few follow up questions. 1. Do you think mobile devices in 2018 could handle GTA IV? 2. If they did a re-release of GTA IV, whether its on mobile, or converted to new hardware plus the remastered re-release on PC, do you think it would come with TLAD and TBOGT? Or do you think EFLC would come later. Personally, I hope to see a re-release on mobile (if it won't be sh*t), and a remastered version for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. I also hope that EFLC is included, and that all of the content is combined. AKA, we have all of the GTA IV stations, plus the DLC updates to them, plus the EFLC exclusive ones, on all three games. So what are your guys thoughts and hopes?
Eugene H. Krabs
I would hate a mobile port, but IV deserves a remastered re-release for PC. The original PC version was god awful. gajrajgchouhan, Hybrid_Punk, burger_mike and 9 others

Osho
Nothing. Likely a tribute through an Online event, with contests and exclusive items to buy for spending a great time playing with friends. Lancerator, Sweet Bellic, LiniArc and 1 other
PhillBellic
IV deserves a remastered re-release for PC. The original PC version was god awful. Exactly this. Having it be rebuilt from the ground up would give it the Justice it deserves. Niobium, Inf3rn0, Ivan1997GTA and 1 other
Algonquin Assassin
Probably nothing which may or may not be that bad. I'm not a big fan of San Andreas, but the buggy "remaster" that was released on PS3 and 360 in honour of the 10th anniversary was pretty horrendous. I'm not sure I could trust R* to give GTA IV the 10th anniversary it deserves. Would rather an acknowledgement of some kind like Osho stated. Uncle Vlad
A GTA IV 10th anniversary DLC for GTA Online. With clothes from the Russian Shop, "Let´s go bowling" tattoos, a chrome version of Little Jacob´s VIrgo with pink dollar rims and a re-skinned pistol that looks like the combat pistol in IV. AuSsIeThUnDeR36
It's possible that Rockstar should surely come up with a 10th anniversary Youtube video, something that they have compiled themselves to celebrate IV by. I can't see a mobile port of it at this stage. Whatever R* does, I hope they dont f it up and release some glitchy, unplayable thing. Give me a t shirt with IV 10th Anniversary on it or one of those "Happiness Is..." jumpers and I'll be a happy man.

Melancholia
A mobile version of GTA IV would be insane. I can't even comprehend how that would run as of now lmao. I'm thinking a remaster would be a little more feasible. A man can dream, at least. Hybrid_Punk and Uncle Vlad

I'm thinking a remaster would be a little more feasible. A man can dream, at least. A mobile port isn't happening anytime soon. No device as of right now could handle IV's graphic limitations unless R* lowered the graphics which would make IV look awful I don't think even in 2020 would we have devices this powerful to handle a game like IV but it may be possible. Don't even start to think about a mobile version of V because that would be beyond insane Speaking of mobile gta's... What about VCS? Edited May 9, 2016 by GTA_The_Series
Osho
I definitely want to see VCS ( including LCS ) re-release but only for PC, and instantly buy the same no matter the price. Mobile ports are simply waste of money. I've tried playing the mobile versions and so far they absolutely suck, except for CW, which is ok; not too bad to run on mobiles. Best to get a complete remaster of EFLC to get a smooth and improved performance with tons of flaws corrected. It should increase the chances of many people buying it again for NG/PC platforms, and overcome many problems connected with the original ( PC/LG ) crappy versions. SwaGGer_1337
In 2016 it should be GTA Vice City stories In 2017... Max Payne 2 ? Why not In 2018... Bully ? why not Anyway they got enogh (Manhunt, Midnight Club,) game to remaster without any performance issues which GTA IV has I will be happy if R* just release patch for GTA IV with Steamworks, SocialClub and without GFWL gajrajgchouhan
Dock
I think they'll polish up IV and hopefully EFLC a bit and release it for CG consoles and PC. If this happens it's a good thing IMHO if it means IV's epic multiplayer returns as well! I highly doubt in two years GTA O will be getting any love, GTA VI related stuff might be going on but hey, it's all speculation.
CometGT
A standalone Remastered version of The Complete Edition, with added content likes of more shops to buy clothes, food/drinks, apartment listings etc. Wishful thinking, but something I would like to see for GTA IV's big 10th anniversary, and not focused on just Online by then. (who knows?) And maybe a bigger LC map with the cut content from the beta and the drawing board of the more areas to explore and discover. DimitriFaustin
I think it's too early to tell what a 10th anniversary for GTA IV will be. Honestly, however, I'd rather see Rockstar do a 20th anniversary for GTA 1, London '69 and '61 and GTA 2 *. Maybe it's time to give the HD games some "breather room" before this kind of a project. And what I mean by that is flesh out the HD universe more. * - Which probably has a 1% chance of ever happening, but then, who knows?
GroovyQ
I really wouldn't mind another small DLC or something. I think all it will be is R* celebrating though. I'll probably play it all night for the anniversary.

DoctorMike
they already released it for PC but we might get the GTA IV for next gen consoles, however Rockstar is too f*cking lazy to remake it so they might release a port. lol but if they remaster it. we might get some new content of course, nobody knows! Osho
I don't think its about them being lazy, but more about demand for such a remake / remaster whatever one would like to call. If there's not enough demand to justify such an investment of money, time and labour then, perhaps, they might not have a slight interest in doing a remaster. Personally, I find IVs remaster a risky proposal when we don't have enough idea about the demand for the same, unlike the old titles still so popular among the fans. In fact, IV does not even have any presence in the list of top 10 annual downloads across different platforms which suggests me that people are not interested in this game anymore. Yeah, but you said above a remaster of EFLC would be the best option which doesn't make a whole lot of sense if you think a remaster of GTA IV is risky seeing as EFLC failed financially and didn't meet R*'s expectations even at the time of release. Why would they consider a remaster of EFLC before GTA IV? GTA IV has always been more popular than EFLC and it would draw more from a remaster too. The only chance EFLC has of getting a remaster is if GTA IV gets one first or they decide to overhaul the complete edition.
Osho
I said "It should increase the chances of many people buying it again" if they remaster EFLC, i.e., 'overhaul the complete edition' like you mentioned, because the fans are obviously going to ask whether the episodes are also part of the remaster or not. If they are only going to remaster IV then I believe its going to be a risky proposal compared to the package as a whole which will definitely make people to think about buying the game as an addition to their collection and such.
