  1. 1. How much should contact missions pay out (as a reasonable amount)?

    • Same

    • A bit more (10-15% more)

    • Quite a bit more (25-40% more)

    • A lot more (50-70% more)

    • A hell of a lot more (100% more)

In my opinion, contact missions pay out relatively low now compared to VIP missions, where you don't have to wait for loading screens and such. I think there should be a boost to the rp and cash payout of missions, but I was curious of your guys' take on the whole thing.

More pay is cool, but more missions in general would make me want to play them more often. I get sick everytime i see a rooftop rumble invite.

Yeah, same here. If only they released contact missions instead of garbage adversary modes (not saying all adversary modes are garbage, just most).

They should pay enough so people wouldn't do pointless threads about it

I think mission payments should ramp up when you do them quickly and efficiently. As it is, the best way to "farm" missions is by burning down the clock. You should be rewarded for rushing through missions because it's more efficient.

Still, I wouldn't want fixed mission payouts again. The last thing we need is another Rooftop Rumble or Coveted x16

25% more would be fair IMO.

It would make them worth doing compared to VIP missions rather than just to fill the downtime.

Sir Michael

Honestly, 100%. Back when GTAO's servers came online, the payouts were double what we have now from a speed run and they were guaranteed amounts (Rooftop Rumble gave $25k). Simeon and Gerald missions need a serious payout buff if R* expects us to even play them, somewhere between 150-200%... Drastic, I know, but there's a reason people don't grind, let alone play Chasers. So much effort for an abysmal payout.

Eh...I think there needs to be a balance. When we had the Friends In High Places Update, a lot of payouts were close to $50k per mission, which means that 20 missions will net you a new supercar. I know that sounds awesome and all, but I think I would be fine if they made it so that there was a 50% payout increase, because now it's all about VIP work, and not much about missions. While I generally like VIP missions more, contact missions just feel a bit more complex and fun. But since I'm not earning more money playing contact missions, I hardly play them at all unless there's a double cash and rp week/weekend.

Nah nah nah Gta 6

They should all give the same amount of pay as a setup mission on hard mode.

What they used too before they made every mission time based. $18,000 per 4 minutes like RR used too. Now to get $18,000 takes 10 minutes 6 of which is afk simulator. Used to get $90,000 in 30 minutes. about $180,000 per hour compared to the $100,000 per hour now half of which is being afk. You used to play the entire time during missions now its about being afk.

The high level missions were over 100% of what they are now. I for one only play them on double rp now. Otherwise it's not worth your time.

i can pinch out like 500 grand a day (or more) from missions alone if i turn my brain off, flip on netflix, and just grind grind grind.

so a boost in payout would be just peachy.

i'd say about...25 percent or so.

why not do heists you might be thinking?

my answer to that: you must be new here.

Contact Mission payout is fine at the moment,
I don't see a problem with it at all.

My mission grinding routine is/was similar to Broblab's minus Dark Souls 3. I would wake up in the early morning, start some coffee, log into GTAO, then spend like 30mins trying to join random's through quick job. They kick me often because I'm a triple digit level. Then once I finally get accepted by some low levels, I grind the missions with them for about an hour to a hour and a half while making them rich. Then I'll either solo-grind or find a new group to grind with for a couple more hours.

On topic, the missions do need a buff in pay and rp in my opinion. About a 50% to a 75% increase. That or Rockstar needs to add mission contacts that are way richer than the ones there now.

I don't care

they're boring since one guy in a kuruma can solo them all (a few exceptions)

More than they do now

The struggles of having to watch shark card ads, and *gasps* adversary mode ads every time you decide to do one alone should double the pay out

They should pay out five bucks considering the missions are all old and been played out.

Maybe if rockstar knew how to make something other than adversary modes things would pan out... But as for now the rehashed crap is simply bloatware.

Even if it was increased, people will still complain it's not enough. Just look at past 2x events, people still complained, it will never be enough because there will always be that one guy who wants everything without putting any work into earning it.

A hell of a lot more.

The mission payouts were set back before the days of $10,000,000 gold planes, etc. Everything has become much more expensive now, so mission payouts should be raised to account for it.

I feel terrible for anybody trying to grind these for money. For RP they're pretty good, but heists are way more fun and lucrative particularly if 4 people have mics... though some of the contact missions are quite fun IMO and also a good excuse to get some use out of your Pegasus collection without just being a rocket-magnet.

I play just about anything that's co-op if I'm online and my regular gang of guys are busy or not around and use it as an opportunity to meet new people who like to do cooperative play activities. If the contact missions paid 1.5X what they do now I think they'd see a lot more traffic, at double they'd really be a great deal.
