But my question is: if I uninstall GTA V from the old PC, how to can activate the game successfully when I reinstall my retail copy on the new PC? Is there is workaround for the issue where trying activating the game with same serial number again (even with the same SocialClub account) will not produce the sh*t called "this serial is already used"?!? Because many people cannot activate their GTA V copy again after they needed to reinstall their GTA V again since it fails to activate with same serial number again they owned. On official R* community forums there are tons of threads started by people having this issue and they're stuck because they din't have a way to use their activation key again... Help! I need valid solution for this, also on the GTA V's Troubleshooting article in "Help in Support" there is no fix listed for that pretty ordinary issue at all... Also, I've encountered issue - I wanted to start the game and and log out of my account before uninstall it, but launcher every time started downloading an update and it crashed every time when it was about do finish downloading it, so I couldn't launch the game at all... I've has GTA IV installed and this issue came after I've uninstalled it from my PC, and SecuROM has done some registry changes, and seems they broke GTA V somehow... After GTA IV's uninstall, GTA V just refused to work anymore at all... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
