How much longer will you play GTA: Online?

I have been a little bored online since over 15 friends have moved on to ps4. I'm just tired of seeing the same loading screens for over a year.

 

You can now buy the t20?

Wow amazing, I never knew that.

 

Personally I'm just waiting for gta VI at this point, hoping for it to take place somewhere like Las Venturas.

Holy sh*t I don't even think this game is worth playing anymore. I used to play with my friends but they had the game when it first came out so they're hardly fun at all. And all the want to do is play CS GO (which btw is an extremely overrated game IMO). And everyone else just seems to be bored and want to kill you for laughs. And all the new content they put out is sh*t. Honestly, even if they updated it with a DLC that had everything I could ask for, I probably still won't not play it. Okay. I was over exaggerating on that, but you get where I'm coming from. I hope.

I personally stopped playing about a month or so ago, just before the Tornado update. I think the game was great and had a good run, I just personally feel like it's on it's last breath. I mean I sold my PS4 anyways, as there wasn't anything else I really played either.

 

My only problem with GTA Online was the player base really. The game itself was fun once in a while I found a decent lobby or a couple players worth doing missions/jobs with.

 

Story mode was a massive disappointment though and I feel like with The Benz leaving, I feel like future GTA games are only going to go downhill from here which is a shame, cause this is my favourite franchise ever and it had a massive influence in my life. Among a few other things, Rockstar and mainly GTA games were the ones that got me into music production.

Realy....as broken and unbalanced it is...i can no longer deny its my longest played game ever(edit maybe with the exeption of cod black ops zombie mode)

As long as GTAO exists. I've played since the beginning, and I'll play it until the bitter end. GTAO has kept me hooked more so than most other games I've played. I have over 1300 hours logged on the PC version alone, with hundreds more on the console versions. It's surely a game I can see myself playing 5, 10, maybe even 20 years without ever getting burnt out on.

I have no reason to immerse in gameplay in GTA:O anymore.

It's just the aversary modes now, i feel GTA:O is like dying.

 

Ocassionally, i jump in a Insurgent vs. RPG or search for random trap race on call. I never host. Fuсk the waiting game.

I rather play Fallout 4 with mods and build some settlements.

I haven't played GTA:O since the day Custom Classics came out. I bought a Virgo Classic, left it stock, drove around 5 minutes and logged off. I prefer modding single player nowadays anyway, and there are other games/sims I'm developing mods for which has pretty much gotten my time now. A combination of my bad internet and the fact that Rockstar have ceased putting any effort into the game has destroyed it for me.

I played for maybe 20 minutes yesterday. Not sure if I can convince myself to do 2-3 marathon or semi-marathon sessions over this weekend like I normally would. It just feels like, why bother?

My character is already on an indefinite hiatus. The constant barrage of Adversary Modes coupled with the very clear focus on PvP and poor matchmaking has really killed my enthusiasm. Uncharted will make the next month or so a very easy one to skip for GTA. Hell, I've been playing RockBand and Forza Horizon 2 more than GTA. I also just got a new guitar and now spend my GTA nights rehearsing with the band...GTA is dead to me.

 

Now before you tell me to piss off, I love the game and check back here daily to see if any rumors or leaks about future content have surfaced. Unfortunately, it's been well over a month since I've even remotely felt the inclination to play.

I play gtao like the sims. Most friends have moved on. The eternal freeroam pvp deathmatch is stupid to me. It burns your cash and ammo. I help out sometimes a friend with a heist, but I am semi retired from heists for myself.

 

Randummies are well, random dummies. And they shoot you in the back after a heist. Sometimes you lose passive. R* could have fixed this by ending all heists in an appartment or in the strip club. But no, fun glitches get fixed, really annoying things never.

 

I really hate the constant push of lowriders and adversary modes. It is designed to max out shark card sales. There is untapped potential enough. I think players have to vote with their feet to make R* to change their act.

I got carried away yesterday and had a 20 hour session - my longest ever. Despite all the sh*t spilling out of my console because of the massive amount of bugs and inconsistencies, it's still the most fun I've ever had in a game. I play other games more often now, but I still don't see an end to this.

Ever since The Division came out me and my buds moved away from GTA, i personally find The Division to be boring as hell, so i sold the game after getting the platinum and came back to GTAO.

 

I don't play as much as i used to cause my friends are still addicted to The Division for some reason, so for now i'm just helping low level people out in GTA:O..

Most of the main missions on hard mode take us an hour and something minutes to work thru. We were on cloud nine when it was over. Its intense when you have a group and our local Gamestop says its their most talked about game right now with customers coming in saying how good it is. Its getting high reviews across the board on meta and Amazon. Sorry it wasnt for you. Grand theft auto is mostly appealing to kids, around age 12 but Im a big kid too, so...I still play GTA

 

About my time in Grand theft auto , its difficult being engaged with the bad sport system. On my 7th bad sport sentence on my second account. This is getting ridiculous.

I used to laugh when I heard how much people played things like Second Life, but now I'm one of them.

SL is a completely different level to GTA. Even if you had 10,000 hours on GTA:O it wouldn't compare to the cringe of 100 hours on SL. Sorry if I offended any SL players, but god dang it's bad.

 

Having never played it I honestly wouldn't know. I was talking about the playing time, rather than comparing anything else about the games.

 

Once you see SL, you will love the GTA children who scream on the mic.
