How much longer will you play GTA: Online?

I still regularly play GTA: O, I have 75+ hours logged on Steam this week alone, and I'm going to continue playing it regardless of updates that do/don't come out. I enjoy playing this game enough to keep playing it even if Rockstar announced that they are stopping support for new DLC, I have had my moneys worth, I got what I expected, anything new that comes out is a bonus.

 

How much longer do you see yourself playing GTA:O for, or why do you still play GTA:O? Also It will be interesting to know how many people don't even play it anymore and continue to post here. Just note, this isn't a place to Bitch & Moan about not getting new DLC, I just want to know how much you guys play.

As long as GTAO exists. I've played since the beginning, and I'll play it until the bitter end. GTAO has kept me hooked more so than most other games I've played. I have over 1300 hours logged on the PC version alone, with hundreds more on the console versions. It's surely a game I can see myself playing 5, 10, maybe even 20 years without ever getting burnt out on.

Honestly I split my PS4 time with either this or MGSV.

 

Soon enough it maybe on the back burner whilst I'm jizzing over Uncharted 4.

I'll probably play it until the next iteration of GTA (and GTAO) comes out.

 

Updates provide new novelties every so often, the R* Editor gives me a creative outlet and hanging around on GTAF gives me new ideas to try out thanks to the conversations people have on here.

I bought the PS4 because of GTA V and it´s still the only game I own. I will play it till we get the next GTA. I hope the current GTA will be expanded.

I guess that I will have a break soon because of Uncharted 4. I will play the story and after come back to GTA.

I just dip in now. The grind for cash is boring, especially after blowing all my money on the cheapest yacht. Need new missions.

 

Playing Just Cause 2 instead on Backwards Compatibility. Plenty of unfinished games.

Amazing how forums are created for discussion, to discuss topics. I want to know if people are still playing, and reply why and for how long they expect to keep playing. Some modding is bad, but I've actually started playing a lot more than I did before thanks to some. You can join a session with one and guarantee to see something you never thought was possible before. Jesus flying round a toilet was one of my favourite moments.

if the current state of updates continues like this then i will not carry on playing it. i hardly ever play it now and when i do, i just drive around and listen to a podcast that i didnt finish on the way back home on the train. either that or when i am too tired to play a moba / hearthstone etc. then i will just play gta online.

SL is a completely different level to GTA. Even if you had 10,000 hours on GTA:O it wouldn't compare to the cringe of 100 hours on SL. Sorry if I offended any SL players, but god dang it's bad.

I don't think this question is very smart, because it's hard for a person to answer it. Maybe I'll get a new game and stick to it more than any other for some time and put GTA Online on the side for a while, maybe I'll dislike the next released content or don't receive any content at all and get bored of the game, maybe I'll no longer have free time to play the game because of my personal life. I don't know what will happen tomorrow.
