GAMESHARQ
I just finished the mission where you take a helicopter to rescue the guy from the FIB building. After it finished and Michael was back on the ground, I heard several loud explosions. I had no idea where it came from. I pulled out of the area where Michael was standing and found the source of the explosions. There were 3 vehicles on fire - a moving truck, an SUV, and an overturned police car. A firetruck also pulled up and 4 firefighters ran up to put out the fire. This is the 3rd time I've played through the game and I've never seen this happen before. Is this a glitch or do explosions just happen at random in this game? Edited May 2, 2016 by GAMESHARQ
Lelouch The Zero
I don't know but I do know it was pretty common in San Andreas, especially on the big freeway, and random planes crashing. In V I barely noticed anything like that.
S1N0D3UTSCHT3K
yes... it does rarely happen. I think it's usually a spawning issue where maybe something spawns inside another vehicle and instantly explodes. it espcially happens when you 'load' into an area with very high density, e.g. Michael's house or by a freeway bridge

Megumi
From my experience, reckless aircrafts are more commonly responsible for these random boom boom.
