Sir Michael
Collectibles that count for 100%. Seriously, nobody likes looking for them, especially if the map is massive as f*ck. They were so tedious in San Andreas, and I haven't even put an effort to look for them in V. They add nothing to the game except MAYBE a cutscene. GTA-Biker
Stuff I don't want to see anymore: -More focus on Online than on SP -Corrupt government agencies taking up most of the story -Protagonists who are forced badasses, bland stereotypes and/or whinny bitches -Badly programmed NPCs (attacking you for no reason, getting killed by one punch, making headshots on moving targets at 50+ yards with handguns...) -Bad vehicle physics (supercars offroading better than off road vehicles, most vehicles handling pretty much the same, bikes jumping to rooftops after hitting a low wall...) -Killing previous protagonists -Modern setting with nothing interesting to parody (I'm sick of boring reality shows, stereotypical teenage COD players, annoying hipsters, dumb celebrities...,I'd be happy to sacrifice convenient stuff like internet and cellphone to get a 70s,80s,90s or at least early 2000s setting and get rid of those) -Badly written satirical humor -Badly made map (filled with mountains, and every flat part of the map being filled with a maze of roads and other man made objects,I'd like to have a few deserted areas with no signs of civilization anywhere I look, maybe only some open road in the middle of nowhere) -Boring side activities like golf, tennis or yoga -Dumbing down the gameplay to cater to the casual players instead of long time GTA fans Edited May 2, 2016 by LeopardGecko GrudgefromSanAndreas, Brian_O_Malley, 018361 and 7 others

Shadowfennekin
No Stunt Jumps or Knife Flights........ f*ck off with that sh*t. Also, collectibles that DON'T reward you. Space Docker was a great reward and the monkey pictures for the car/clothes, and the Kraken for pictures...... nothing like pigeons in IV, crap reward. No Robocops...... tone them down Don't abandon SP Multiple endings........ Don't bring back V characters to kill them....... Same with IV characters No "Complete Golf under par" for 100%. THAT was the hardest thing to do...... PijaPaUnLao34
RandompedestrianfromLC
-No more multiple endings. -No more those island maps, except if the setting place is island in real life. Those don't make any sense. It just actually makes the map feel/look smaller and games developers lazy. Maps should be made like in rdr. Not some mythical island things. Thats your opinion. I don't mean actual invisible wall, that you hit and explode in to. More like using natural element like mountains, steap hills, wind and clouds. And maybe autopilot that turns your plane back, if needed. The invisible wall is in game anyway if its island. Whats the difference? Why not to use landmass instead of sea? Just make tha land mass harsh enough to not let player get out of the map. It works the same way as sea. Except you can't drown in to it, opviously. In V you have the invisible wall anyway. Its like glass bowl top of the map. Mountains, clouds, steap rocky hills, rivers, lakes and autopilot is the answer. It would make the game world feel huge, if you could see that you are in "middle of actual world" like in red dead instead of that island thing. It could have worked perfectly in V, since the city is in middle of mountains and hills in real life: search real aerial photos of Los Angeles. RedDagger
It works in RDR and similar games due to the natural restrictions of the gameplay, GTA has helicopters, planes and blimps so creating a natural barrier is basically impossible. Doubling down and installing forced limitations (e.g. really low max height and autpiot turning you around) would be unnecessarily crippling part of the freedom that makes GTA games as fun as they are, just to give an illusion of world size - which really goes against the idea behind open world games. Basically you'd be heavily limiting gameplay just for essentially pointless aesthetics and regressing the nature of open world sandboxes. The other options for not being an island are a)pulling a Just Cause, Fuel or The Crew and just making a massive world so you don't even need to give an illusion of space, or b)making the world beyond the detailed areas procedurally generated. The former, well, isn't really an option for GTA, and the latter is far too complicated and brings up an unnecessary amount of complications and inconsistency for what would functionally be the same as good ol' infinite ocean. So personally, I'm fine with island maps. killdrivetheftvehicle, Sussus Amongus, GTAVGG and 3 others

RandompedestrianfromLC
It wont change the fact that the invisible wall or bowl and height limitation is already in the V. It just happens to end in to sea. Maybe you guys just dont get the vision I have on my mind now. Bowl is bowl shaped just like invisible bowl in V. It would just end in to cloudy mountain area around the map. Bowl can be high from the top too not nessessary low and circle. It wouldnt limit anything more than V's system. Sorry to get offtopic. B Dawg
Anti wishlist? Time to unload myself! - Health Regen! f*ck off and go back to generic shooters, stay away from GTA. - Return of cars as ugly as the Zentorno - Super accurate weapons for the player and NPCs - Rubberbanding - Overly sensitive/paranoid pedestrians - 90% of the story and side characters being annoying pricks/douchebags/assholes (TBOGT and V) - Protagonists being bitches - Special Abilities - Checkpoints (Git gud scrubs) - All the unecessary, stupid RESTRICTIONS making you fail the mission or activity (Wanker got spooked because you shot your weapon even tho its not a 'Follow this person without being seen' mission, you went too far, etc...) - Forced hitmarkers - Screen flashing - Online focus - Arcadey driving with driving assists on top Misunderstood, lol232, MrTKR and 9 others
HOW'S ANNIE?
The RDR/V style mission checkpoints which allow you to skip the mission segments. I can deal with the TLAD/TBOGT style which throw you back into freeroam, but it just makes the game feel dumbed down if they follow the current approach

kraftwerkd
Hm, let's see. - OP cops. The whole ramming-from-behind-and-your-wheel-turning sh*t needs to stop. Cripes what lazy programming. - More OP cops. Magic headshots from a helicopter that's spinning out of control needs to stop. Cripes what lazy programming. - Restrictions in SP. I know you're trying to tell us a story, but at least after the story give us options to mess around. Apartments, garages, insurance, the same vehicles as Online. I don't want to have to mod SP just to have fun when the story is finished. - Cut back on the satire, it was almost painful at times. - Stop making interiors and then cutting them from final product. Bahama Mama's, Tequi-La-La and maybe 2-3 smaller bars should've been open. - Removing cool features from previous games - taxi, trucking, vigilante, import/export, multiple safehouses, the real witness system, side activites (like RDR), rentable properties, decent AI, interiors, patrolling cops, the sixth star. - Less focus on trying to be funny and more focus on creating an awesome story. I don't even know what V was trying to tell me, it was pulled in so many different directions.
