rlk232
This is only pertaining to contact missions. When it's possible and there's a good spot, how often do you snipe the enemies instead of getting close and killing them? I find it very enjoyable, and probably do it 80-90% of the time I can. How about you?
Weedell
It used to be my go to method at lower level and I specifically looked for missions that accommodated it, but after deciding to start working in closer I rarely snipe in missions. I really do wish more missions were stealth-able, like if nobody sees/hears you kill a guy they don't react, the only missions off the top of my head like that are Romance Isn't Dead and Dish the Dirt and I do snipe in those. I do like starting off High Priority Case w some sniping too -- I land on the square shelf on side of the Maze Bank, the best part is watching the confused NPCs start shooting one another. rlk232
Definitely agree, dude. More stealth in the game would be a very good thing. I'm annoyed at how often using a silenced firearm, firing one weapon and killing a guy with a shot in the head tips off their enemy mates, even when they're 50 feet away. It will always do this on certain missions and I'd love to know why that can't be changed.
Weedell
I just imagine they're all wearing networked biometrics...it seems more plausible for Merryweather than for the Vagos or Lost though.
REXX
Sniping Merryweather in the hangar during A Titan of a Job. Sniping the professionals in the hangar during The Los Santos Connection. Although they're not considered to be contact missions, my favourite for sniping have to be Coveted, Crystal Clear Out 2 and 3. It's great that they can all be completed with a sniper Edited May 2, 2016 by REXX93 merph84

PondNewt
I snipe very frequently in contact missions. Probably some of my favourites to do it in are Turbine Carbine, Flood in the LS River, Lost MC RIP and A Titan of a Job. rlk232 and merph84
rlk232
Me too, Newt. You can also find good sniper spots on other missions like Teaser Trailer and Chopper Tail. That's part of how I make the game interesting now, I try to find new/different ways to do missions. Sitting in a Kuruma or even running across/finding cover and shooting, well that's not much variety to me after doing a mission a few hundred times. Yes I always snipe the first four or five guys in Chopper Tail from the hilltop before the helicopter lands. Forgot to mention that one but that would definitely be one where the heavy sniper rifle always comes out for me.
rlk232
Yeah, I'm pretty much sniping wherever I can. I also enjoy a long range rocket hitting them too, whenever possible.
Skeve613
Go-to method for most missions. I've recently been using a chopper to reach elevated vantage points where you have a good view or the NPCs can't reach you is also fun.
Semaj 2JZ♢
As a smarter, non-Rambo type of player, I will go out of my way to snipe my enemies first and foremost. merph84 and rlk232
No Use For A Name
As often as I can. I refilled my ammo six months ago and still have 9000+ sniper rounds. Helluva lot more cost efficient using them instead of wasting 200 AP rounds every mission rlk232
IceDree
Depending on the mission for me, but I usually do it in Turbine Carbine, Flood in the LS River, A Titan of a Job & Los Santos Connection. merph84
