I've been playing GTA III for a long time but I don't really know what you mean by lifts If you go to the grass area underneath the Callahan Bridge in Portland. If your facing Staunon, the carlifts ar to your right. There is a low concrete wall around them with two openings that you can drive trough. And OP: They don't do anything special or useful. Yeah, might aswell make a post saying ''Did we ever find out what the trees were for? But if we want to find out, maybe let's play the game and then do all the missions near the lifts, and maybe Rockstar has invented a shortcut or something.
