Contact Mission teammate was able to kill ne, how?

I just had a troll teammate (sparky something or other) but he was able to blow up my car and then directly shoot me. How is this possible?

 

Am I missing something? I play contacts all the time and have never been killed by a teammate, unless driven over of course.

 

Anyone?

Depends, what did it say when you died? If it said he killed you I'd be surprised too but there are many ways to get friendlies killed... Like if he pointed a gun at a gangster behind you for example.

I had a teammate shoot me right out of my buzzard in the contact mission "High Priority Case", never happened before and hasn't happened since.

 

And i'm talking lock-on shooting not him blowing up the buzzard or him shooting the buzzard. He shot me as if we were in freeroam. This was on PS4 BTW

Hmmm...someone mentioned in another thread they were killed while they were in passive mode in a freeroam lobby recently. I wonder if there is a way to bypass the ability to kill players now in missions and freeroam. Maybe this is the beginning of modders on CG?

 

Just odd these things are happening lately. Maybe it's a bug in the game people are taking advantage of.

 

I know people can kill me in my apartment and garage now because of a wall breach. So I immediately hit passive mode when I get online so people can't get cheap kills.

This one never gets old. Its hilarious.I would be surprised if it's modders too but most likely it's a bug players found they can expolit now. I've been killed by a player in my apartment once and killed in my garage twice now because of these wall breaches.

 

I'll just go look up youtube videos on wall breaches, clothing glitches and permenently off radar glitch for GTA to verfiy peoples dirty tatics. Youtubers are still posting videos for stuff like that.

 

I'm assuming Rockstar has stopped banning those videos on YouTube at this point. I'm not lying. You can literally get a lot of these glitches and wall breach stuff off youtube again since Rockstar stopped flagging these videos it looks like.

Well, that's progress for ya! Let's see how this situation develops. Was planning on playing more on PS4 (and I probably will, in time) but if you're not even safe in contact missions, what's the point of playing with anyone at all?

Yes you can kill your teammates during contract mission. All you gotta do is rush to your car before they do, and run their asses over until they die. Repeat the process once they spawn.

 

 

I generally do this to the host when they try to insults me by putting the mission settings on normal instead of hard.

I believe it is still possible to do in contact missions, I remember once recently I was having to fix my controller and

got sat on by another players car and died straight away.

Some people know glitches to use guns inside apartments, so just assume it was a glitch...cause we all know how accusations of modding on CG turn out.

This has happened to me on ps3 but not yet on ps4.

Playing "chumash and grab" and another player was able to shoot me twice, then left the mission. I couldn't shoot them either

It doesn't take a peanut sized brain to realize that perhaps you're dealing with a modder, and not some stupid glitch.

He's on PS4. Therefore the worst case scenario is that it was a glitch, done on purpose. It definitely was not a "modder".

I've shot and killed my friend in a mission before. But this was back on the PS3. Wasn't a mod or a glitch, it just was able to lock on to them.

 

I've also melee'd a friend to death in a mission, was just messing about whilst she was idle and I killed her. Hard to explain why we had lost a life on the blow up mission..
