So who has the most (legit) money?

1 billion thanks to those billion dollar bounties. At 43 million at the moment.

Been sitting on about $12 Mil, more or less, for the past few months whilst owning everything I've ever wanted. Most I ever had was about $16.5 Mil after doing the CMC. Sunk $9 Mil on a yacht after that.

 

Grinded Pac Standard Finales back to where I'm at now. Given the lack of good content updates, I see no reason to grind for more cash nowadays.

Right now, I'm sitting on a mere $5M. I bought pretty much every Pegasus vehicle, so if I hadn't done that, I'd imagine I could have over $100M.

 

But leaving it just sitting their kind of bores me a bit, so the most I ever had without spending it was just under $20M.

Most I've ever had legit has been 11Mil purely by grinding missions and some pac standards and fleecas I was bored out of my mind. And GTAO is my favorite game (gameplay wise)

 

These days I just grind missions solo and VIP work but I'm getting bored too. I always slpurge money on new vehicles as long as it interests me... Now I have 4mil only (but I'm open to pac stan finale glitching )

Current is 132million but yet again its invalid in legitimate terms.

Own everything that i want that i can have. A 6th property would be filled up in a hour no problem

Just curious - are you aware that playing and completing the missions as fast as possible gives you more money for the same amount of time?

 

Amazingly, I am aware of this. It yields maybe another 50% per hour. It could be a higher ratio, if not for the interminable waiting in the clouds and matchmaking. These gross time-wasting defects in the online game drive one to do the longer mission duration, to reduce the ratio of wasted cloud time. It's really a f*cking joke.

 

The other not-so-subtle difference is that two thirds or more of my time is my own, to do useful real life stuff, instead of wasting my whole evening with a controller in my hands. I mostly do the short easy missions that take only 3 to 5 minutes of shooting, cover, reloading and driving, then slap the rubberband in place, go back to the real world, wait for the 15 minute timer to beep, and walk or drive into the complete-mission marker. I do the missions solo, of course.

 

Seriously, the only/main reason I do this is to accumulate a pile of money, so I can buy stuff when I feel like it. How many thousands of hours can one entertain oneself shooting, reloading, snapping in and out of cover, driving from point A to point B? Really? This is more tedious than a job. It's lucky that I love the GTAV virtual world and have fun playing in it.

 

The alternative, actually playing missions for fun, with randoms, (which I do, sometimes) takes full time at the controller, typically has a high failure rate and therefore a lower average hourly payout, negative on all parameters. But yes, sometimes, I get a streak going with randoms, where we all do the short easy quick missions, one after another, and it is fun.

6 millions, all legit from over two years playing the game, I have never bothered with grinding and I don't care to flaunt some cash in petty things like a new car(which I could steal it for free from the streets), explosives to kill other players(which I could easily avoid), new clothes(even though I only wear one outfit 90% of the time), etc...

 

Money is meant to be spent into something.

If there's one thing I can like about this game is the whole idea of progression and working hard to reach your goals, like a new apartment, fancy car or whatever else you want, the satisfaction you get afterreaching said goals is great and you truly enjoy what you have conquered.

 

Modding, cheating, glitching, pretty much nullifies this and spoils me off the satisfaction since everything can be handed to me on a silver plate, then it's just a matter of time until everything gets dull and boring.

 

And seriously, now it's easier than never to get money in this game, time based payouts for missions means I can take my time to complete then, heists can pay relatively well if you have a decent team and play smart with your ammo, daily objectives are - mostly - easy to complete, etc...

So I can't even imagine how money can be a concern in this game anymore, it's just too easy to get it now.

according to social club i earned a total of 129.9 million and i have spent 66 million of that

I think something between 80 and 90% is legit. The rest is from modders on PS3. You can't really avoid them in an open free roam lobby.

Well.. I survived a $1 billion bounty back in the day... although the money amount wasn't legit the survival to keep it was..

I have had around $18 mil after completing the Criminal Mastermind Challenge but I transferred to current gen shortly after and blew nearly all of it since.

Playing much less so my earnings have been slim.
