Having issues with GTA Online

Hello, I have been playing GTA Online on my PS4 for a while now and I'm now at rank 29, and I'm noticing I'm having an issue that I can't get around to fixing. I noticed that I was supposed to get the trophy for being rank 25 after I made it to that rank, and I'm still yet to get it. That's when I suspected something's wrong. So when I went to look at my player's stats and went to the general tab, it said that the last time I ranked up was on 04/04/16. That's not true because I played a bit today and I ranked up twice. Please assist me.

Have you tried powering down your playstation and restarting it? A full shutdown, not quick start or hibernate or whatever it's called. I know that some achievements don't unlock straight away and you need to restart the game for them to be awarded.

Sadly I actually have, I've done almost everything possible. And no matter how much I rank up, the date stays at 04/04/16 as well. I even cleared the system cache like Rockstar told me to do, but they never help

Hmm, I can't think of anything myself, but I did have a quick look on google and found two that might or might not work.

 

One is you could try uploading your save to the cloud, deleting it from your PS4 then downloading it again. Where I found it they were only talking about singleplayer games, but I think it's worth a try. Another is to close the game, sign out of PSN so you're offline, launch the game and when you get back into singleplayer, sign back into PSN.

Hey there, sorry for responding late to this. I did everything you provided for me, and sadly nothing yet. I haven't gotten the trophy nor has the date changed either .

Hmm, I really don't know. One more thing I saw was create a second character, if that's possible for you, complete or skip the tutorial and solo a quick race like Criminal Records, then go back to freeroam and it might pop up for you.

 

I'm afraid I'm out of ideas. Hopefully you get some help from someone else or it pops up randomly for you. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Thanks for the help man, I'll give that a shot as well. Hopefully a solution comes up sooner or later.

Hey, I figured it out! But all of the credit goes towards the one who figured this out. This is for anyone who has this similar problem as me, just do races, or parachuting, and once you're close to ranking up, go to free mode and rank up there and you'll get the trophy instantly.
