Top 4 superbikes - compared and analyzed for performance

I own nothing but fast bikes and do nothing but kill on the bikes. My go to 3 are #1 Akuma, #2 Double T, #3 Bati.

 

I don't ride the Hak due to it's sh*tty handling but if I wanted to go as fast as I could that would be my #4.

I conquer on my Akuma. Very fun speeding around in it in free roam, too.

I honestly think there's very little between the top four and it's all preference. I got the Hacka for it's beasty straight line momentum, great wheelies, and the fact it looks big and bulky. It's done me proud on all but 1 of the 22 time trials!

The sound of the Hakuchou and Akuma really grates, to the point of actually hurting my ears, so I'm stuck with the Bati, although the Ruffian is my favourite. An honourable mention goes to the Vader, as that was the first motorbike I started playing with in GTAO...finally managed to get a 4-exhaust variant with Racing Blue stock wheels from the last race glitch.

Lol - it's not a race and it's not gonna happen. I was proving a point to him that in old "horses for courses" style, there is no 1 bike to rule them all. You pick the one that has strengths that you desire, and weaknesses that don't bother you, and that's *your* best bike. It's not *the* best bike.

Sorry, but my point stands. The example I gave you is a 100% factual situation where the Bati wouldn't just be beaten, but it would be humiliated, and by a mere Ruffian. There is no best bike and saying that there is just makes it look like you know less I know you do.

It was Vanilla who specifically said that the Bati won't bump that type of barrier. I don't know the reason behind why, but I've had such little luck with it that I consider it almost as unreliable as impossible (basically pointless).

 

That said, I'm gonna try it myself now as there are some things I picked up from stunting with the Akuma over the past month or two, and they may help. If so I'll eat humble pie on the "can't do it", but my original statement about horses for course will still stand.

 

 

Edit: Okay, I'll eat that pie. I just managed it a couple of times on a Bati. I do know things now that I didn't know when I failed with it so many times before, and I think that's definitely helped a lot. But in fairness it took me over 3 minutes to do it on the Bati, whereas I did it first time on the Ruffian (about 10-15 failed attempts for the Bati). I was also able to do it 20 times on the run with the Ruffian (I stopped there, rather than failed No.21), but couldn't do it even twice on the run with the Bati.

 

So yes, I take back the "can't do it" statement, but definitely still stand by the Ruffian being vastly better at this jump (hell, even the Akuma can do it most of the time!)

 

So, back to the original point - there is no best bike.

I prefer riding my Akuma I feel it is more balanced and less reliant on pulling the front wheel up.

But if you wheelie the Bati and Hakkachu are faster in top speed and acceleration. I did drag tests with the bikes my self over a mile.

Without wheelies the Akuma was fastest followed by the Hakkachou then the Bati.

But if you exploit the wheelie boost you find the hakkachou is fastest followed by the Bati with the Akuma being slowest in this scenario.

But I think they all can be competitive on the right track.

Fairly consistent bumps, hit them 9/10 times because of traffic getting in the way.

Ruffian or Bati 801

Bati for everyday/general use. Fully upgraded, nothing and no one, has caught me on it yet so far. Excellent maneuverability and turns on a dime; easily wins the Longest Wheelie challenge. I keep it in my primary garage under my apartment, parked in the primary spot just when you get off the elevator.

 

Akuma for stunts and 'fun time'. Akuma can easily beat the Bati on the Longest Jump challenge. Go out to Sandy Shores and start near Trevor's house, race towards the hotel, there is a ramp to jump over the hotel. The Bati barely makes it, just clearing 300 - 400 feet. The Akuma can clear 600 - 700 feet off that jump. I guess its just a lighter bike or something, it seems to get better air time and seems to hang in the air longer. Akuma is also the most fun of just about all the bikes, more maneuverable then the Bati and handles off-road like a champ. The Akuma was the acclaimed bike for taking on the Time Trial for climbing Chiliad the fastest.

 

Hakuchou for speed. I don't really use this bike for anything other then competing in the Highest Speed challenge. Its maneuverability is horrific. Does not corner very well, in fact it corners very wide, while the Bati and Akuma are sharp and on a dime with minimal loss in speed. The Hakuchou can top 145mph on the speed challenge, but only if you can hold a wheelie long enough on a downhill slope. The problem with it though is if you're doing it in traffic, you have no maneuverability if a vehicle gets in your path.

 

Sanchez, for general fun. I have a Livery Sanchez that I stole off the top of Chiliad, keep it in my Route 68 garage. While the Akuma can handle off-road fairly well, the Sanchez is still a fun bike to race around off road. I don't really use it for much anything else, and hence its sitting in my only 6 car garage, off Route 68 outside Sandy Shores, parked next to my Injection and my Dubsta 6x6. I tend to bring those three out more often when R* does the 'snow' in the winter.

 

Oh and a Western Daemon, I keep one just for a little 'chopper bike' fun.

As a person who uses bikes exclusively for free roam combat for nearly 2 years and owns every bike in the game... I can easily say a lot of bikes have their uses.

 

Some bikes are better at handling.. some better at taking bumps/smashes.. some better at quick bursts of accel. .some are just fast and some can stunt better.

 

For the most a bike with high top speed won't help much in the heat of battle but will help in escapes. Alot of people will say bati is the best, but a bati has jerky handling even at lower speeds and can barely take a bump.

 

If i get into a 1 vs one with a bati rider and im on my Ruffian. I know full well i can't catch the Bati.. but i know the bati can't win a dog fight on the roads against a Ruffian. Because the ruffian has more control and is more stable at lower speeds. And the ruffian can take bumps much better then the bati.

 

I won't go much in to detail because il be here all day.. But knowing the bikes strengths and using it to its fullest is the best way to use them. Buy every bike.. use them for a bit. Push it to its limits and see what it can and can't do.

 

There maybe no actual BEST bike. But theres is the best bike for the job.
