I know I'm kinda dick with my agressive opinions, but I'm pretty sure GTA onlines developers didnt create the game,

so peoples looking like sly the raccoon can run around griefing other players, with those annoying swag insurgents and pink bazookas.

I quess I'm just too mature for that silly stuff. I wouldn't like those silly thing even if i was 11 years old.

 

I just wan't regular GTA stuff to online and not that saint row scifi crazyness.

Gta Online is just too Saints Row type of game. Its just fun this, fun that and I don't find it funny. Its just annoying.

 

Then they are doing it just to annoy players like you, and it's clear it works.

Before someone can annoy or make you angry you have to allow them to. Don't feed the trolls by giving them what they want, a negative reaction.

GTA Online is obviously not my actual life, but it's certainly an important part of my life. It was released during my last year of school and was my primary gaming choice throughout my first year of college, and as expected from any socially awkward f*cktard, it was a turbulent moment in my life. I know this sounds kinda miserable, but travelling to the comfort of Los Santos at the end of an average day, whether it was a good one or a bad one, was my best form of escapism for a while. The glitches I can agree are bad, but the car? Who cares? everyone has different tastes, I for one think that look cool.

 

I mean here's a pic of what I did to my char when lowriders classics dropped

we all got the same hairstyle and had a lot of fun. It's a game don't take it seriously dude.

The only way the game could actually "get worse," is if it gets broken, somehow.

As it is, the game is so good, the only real, arguable criticism is in minor flaws that are within reason in a video game.

I don't know, but I'd assume the people who voted "Worse" in #2 are the same people who voted "Unhappy with GTAO lately" in #1.

Sorry, but you people may not appreciate the full scope of how fortunate you are to have what you have.

The game can get worse. When new content was getting released, entire lobbies I was in would group together and have a good time with their new vehicles - an impromptu car meet of sorts. I made so many friends from those lobbies, it's unbelievable. Now, all their seems to be is killing and destruction in public lobbies. It's quite sad, really. All these people who could just as easily be friends simply resort to harsh words and harassment. The one thing consistently bringing the players together - new content - is absent at the moment and this is hurting the community.

I still enjoy it when I find the time to hop on. I mostly play in private lobbies by myself or with friends, so other players have never really bothered me. I pretty much ignore any new content that I don't agree with(After trying it out at least once of course). So I can't see it getting any worse from the way I choose to look at it. But even then its a 2.5 year old game so I don't expect it to still be like day 15 amazing.(Day 1-14 was ass.....straight loading screens and empty prayers to make it on)

I'm glad they add new stuff. My only concern is what ideas would they come up with for VI's online. If they keep releasing cool content on here, there leaving themselves with less unique ideas for the next gta.(Just my own opinion, it's all good if someone thinks otherwise).

The 24h-48h after a new DLC release is great. The best one was after lowrider part 1. I remember just doing unorganized car meet in random parking lot near Benny's just showing the different cars. Was actually the only moment I really enjoyed this DLC. After that my lowriders have only collected dust in the back of one of my garages

I'm pretty happy. How many previous GTAs did most of us play just as much as V with nothing ever being added? Me personally, played each upon release, from III, til the next installment was released.

I feel like my interest in GTA Online has waned and that Rockstar is starting to run out of ideas. Rockstar needs to learn to let a game go and focus on upcoming games.

 

Personally, I feel that the "long-term MMO-style" of multiplayer modes doesn't work with console games.

The only gamemode that got any form of update is adversary modes for SIX updates in a row, nothing worthwhile has ever been considered to the other gamemodes, and even the adversary modes are lacking in the creative department.

 

Sumo is literally just a rooftop bumpercars, In-and-Out plays exactly like a capture mission, and do I have to mention Rhino Hunt?

 

I have to believe that you legitimately don't know what to talk about because all of our recent choices were Benny vehicles, it's aggravating and half of the new lowriders weren't creative at all, and of course that people will flock over to newer more customizable vehicle for novelty value instead of buying something like a 9F with its hairblower exhaust notes.

 

So yeah, you can't straight-up label facts as bitching just because you don't like them dude, lmao

Seeing all the comments i almost hope they will soon anounce their last dlc or anounce there isnt gonna be anything new.

 

Though i think lowriders are ugly and i do not get why they bothered making all those adversary modes and i also think they rather shoud improve their matchmaking...yea...the game is old enough

a lot of you guys are/seem really sad, miserable and think GTA Online owes you something - its not that deep

its a game, you play it, have fun - there are other games, play them, have fun

 

if you are not enjoying yourself, its a combo of the features and how you utilize them - gta o has a billion features so it must be you

it is an interactive experience, which means you decide what to do - an open world game which means you follow no real linear story, its not a movie where you sit back and wait to be entertained, you entertain YOURSELF

 

 

 

with that being said I thought I was FINALLY starting to get bored with GTA Online - turns out I'm bored with playing video games in general, I'm enjoying things in real life a lot more - but after about 3-4 days of not touching my PS4 I can jump on gta and play for hours no problem - its not a chore, you choose to play it....or dont, stop crying about dumb sh*t

No, Rockstar doesn't owe us anything, but they have to put out a product based on what the fans of the game want if they intend to turn a profit. Bs'ing us about what they intend to do or are doing isn't going to suffice. I used to advise new players to buy a $20 shark card to skip themselves ahead a bit, don't do that anymore.

Understood, but I have the choice to try them or not. For me, that's never a negative. Especially considering we are still getting free updates two and a half years in.

On August 22, 2016 at 1:37AM EST Rockstar will confirm the removal of all Mission, Last Team Standing, Capture, Deathmatch, Race, Versus Mission and Heist gamemodes, along with all of the non lowrider variants of vehicles, which is every vehcile, because Rockstar will also announce the addition of the Mammoth Hydra Custom as Benny's. This concludes the list of every previously known GTA vehicle, and Benny is a rich motherf*cker. PS The Creator is removed, and 10 Adversary modes are added to pile up with the already existing 29467829 modes.

They're wasting time, resources, and memory on stuff barely anyone wants; meanwhile, stuff people have been asking for since ... well, since forever, has been neglected. Cough, contact missions, cough.

 

I would not be surprised if it got worse too, since it already has. How can a game be made worse by adding content, you ask?

 

Look at the homing launcher, the sidey-sidey BS that sniping has been turned into, bullet proof helmets, and (while it's a really cool vehicle) allowing people to own Hydras really messed up the balance of the game, in my opinion.

Not only have they ignored the idea of implementing more exciting, good-pay missions, but they still haven't added back a couple of missions which were apparently bugged i.e. Chemical Extraction, Pick-up Sticks, American Exports etc. It's been almost, what, two years or so, and they still haven't fixed them or added them back. What gives?...

 

From the looks of it already, I don't think they will be adding any new contact missions any time soon if they still haven't even given back some of the missing existing ones. Their focus is apparently stuck on unnecessary adversary modes.

 

Absolute joke.

 

 

They're obsessed with making Freemode a zoo with a variety sub-par events. Why they've turned their back on any form of co-op is beyond me.
