Actlikeyouknow
I recently got enough money to become a VIP, and I can't say it's been a enjoyable experience. When I hire bodyguards, only one of them seems to want to actually guard me and follow, while the rest just go away and never return, so they can still be in freeroam AND get paid for it. When I do VIP work, I tried asset recovery and hostile takeover. They usually get half the server going after my usually 2 man team, and always end with me and my bodyguards getting stuck in a police roadblock and getting blown up/shot up. With asset they just blow it up and leave, but takeover is sooooo much worse. Usually that half of the server will fight over that one package, and if that wasn't enough, the road usually gets jammed with police. So it ends being this game where we all shoot each other, and somebody gets the package for about 4 seconds before hes shot by police/players, and the process repeats itself until level 2303 guywithnolife23 somehow gets away from the mess, and since everybody's vehicle they used, like buzzards, hydras, kurama, and ETC, are blown up, he ends up getting chased by a pack of stolen police cars that can't catch up. So anyway, after that lengthy rant, can you guys tell me a way make more money as a VIP, because so far I'm barely making a profit. Thanks! rlk232
Do the VIP work in an invite only session, dude. Just repeat Sightseer with Hostile Takeover and missions during cooldowns. Oh, it's also good to have a bodyguard so you can do point to point races, easy 11k. Also, Piracy Prevention is very easy and pays fairly well, plus it adds variety; the only downside is that it must be done with at least one non-associate in your lobby. Just stand on the ship with our Rocket Launcher out and turn the yacht defense stuff on...
Jackie_R
...and turn the yacht defense stuff on... I thought that you could not turn your defenses on during piracy.
rlk232
...and turn the yacht defense stuff on... I thought that you could not turn your defenses on during piracy. Oh, I'm 90% you can but I honestly don't remember the last time someone even tried to come after me during that so... can't be entirely sure. Non Funkable Token
Yacht defenses are off during piracy prevention. If not, would be even more unbalanced and easy for the defenders to win.

Thanks for letting me know. As I said, I don't really do PP all that much, but it's rare that people would ever try to bother me when I did play it so... Non Funkable Token
People know it's difficult to win PP. Also if the yacht is far away from the city, the ride isn't worthy. Bored players and other vips with hired bodyguards usually are the only ones who try it. rlk232
rlk232
I'll definitely do PP next time there's 2x $ on VIP mode, if that ever happens again... Edited May 2, 2016 by rlk232
Tonguegirl
I recently got enough money to become a VIP, and I can't say it's been a enjoyable experience. I think this points towards not having a yacht people OT: OP, as far as I'm concerned you can't do VIP stuff effectively without a Buzzard and an Insurgent. Only do Hostile Takeover with a Buzzard and stick to LSIA and Altruist Camp. Remember you have Ghost Organisation (if there's another VIP), and Off Radar will cover you and anyone else you have in the same vehicle so you can take turns using it. If you do Sightseer (and HT) use these tools, you'll need them and again only use a Buzzard, don't drive. Watch out for jets though, if one comes near you bail ASAP and do a quick request for an Insurgent. Don't even bother doing Asset Recovery, I've only ever seen one person successfully deliver a vehicle, Executive Search depends very much on how sneaky a fu*ker you are and how dumb your bodyguards are. I would recomend only doing ES at night. Remember that you have VIP challenges that allow you to compete against your team, this, I believe allows you to make money without being bothered by other people in the session. If you don't mind playing solo, Invite Only can be very profitable but it's boring as hell. the first two hours are OK but after that it's a fu*king drag. However, if you throw in a Contact Mission whenever the cooldown timer is more than 7 minutes and sell a few cars along the way you can easily make just under a Million in 4 hours. If you don't have a Buzzard, get one. Edited May 3, 2016 by Tonguegirl
