What is your Starting Weapon?

Recently I'm mostly using the Compact Rifle.It's decent on foot,and it's the best weapon to use from motorcycles (which I ride most of the time).

The AP pistol all the time, I start every job with it.

 

But I've fallen for the compact rifle ever since I saw it, great stats IMO cause it resembles in stats and looks the most to a real AK-47 (I don't respect the norinco much)

u mean in our races where we use GTA mode for car swaps and pitlanes but strictly no weapons allowed? a weapon i feel like i wanna have equipped even though i wont even see it. that would be the heavy revolver, and yes, i totally have to think of mr. eastwood every time i see a gun with a long barrel.

It depends on what kind of deathmatch I'm playing. If it's mostly close combat, I'll go with the assault shotgun, otherwise it's either the combat MG or special carbine.

My top used weapons are the ap pistol, combat mg, special carbine, marksman rifle, regular knife, assault shotgun, rpg and sticky bomb.

 

 

My first weapon i generaly start the day with is generaly the pistol i gues though...by selecting it and removing it from my inventory

I like to start missions with a flashlight..But as far as weapons I've recently started using the Bodyguard Variant of the switchblade. It looks cool and the animation is great.

AP pistol all day. It has been my start weapon since I got it unlocked. Even the nerf didn't ruin it. I can still shoot NOOSE out of heli's with it.

My primary weapons (in most used order):

-Combat MG (favourite weapon in the game, I'd easily use this if we could only carry one weapon).

-Heavy sniper

-AP Pistol

-Sticky Bombs

-Assault Shotgun (I mostly find myself using a Combat MG at close range though).

-Compact Rifle (if i'm really bored)

 

Even though I don't really use pistols in combat, my favourite is the Revolver.

Shotgun or minigun terminator style. I have the minigun in all tints available.

If all else fails again, just say "f*ck it" and run at them. Intimidation is the best weapon. Best used with no shirt on and wearing a hockey mask.

My personal favorite is no shirt but still wearing a bowtie, heart boxers, flip-flops and my please kill me hockey mask while doing the air thrust motion.

 

The best reactions though come from doing this after driving a bull dozer into the city. Now that's commitment. It will take you 20 minutes at the least only to last 30 seconds as soon as someone see you.

 

It really is too bad they're so frail and no longer cargo bobable. Damn things will flip any personal vehicle with ease. It's a slow tank without offensive weapons.

If they gave a classic wooden skin to the assault rifle I'd gladly have that as my primary gun.

 

OT: Mine would have to be the heavy sniper. I've started to get used to shooting without using the scope in close quarters, somewhat even match against someone using the assault shotgun. Don't have a current gen console so wouldn't know about how not using the scope in first person would work.

I start out missions with no weapon. If I can complete a mission quickly and efficiently without spending money on ammo or Pegasus, then that's my first choice.

OP, if you mean what I think you mean, which weapon do you have set as starting weapon when starting a job, that's what you mean right?

Not your favorite weapon like pretty much everyone in this thread so far seem to think.

I used to start with this gun for everything. I guess that cool factor wore off for me, I still like this gun for stealth just like the smg or even just using the flashlight attachment.

Special carbine has always been my go-to weapon but sticky bombs, proximity mines, RPGs and AP pistol get some love too. I own all the weapons (even the useless pistols) but I feel special carbine is generally the best for street combat.
