I feel stupid! I finally bought GTA San Andreas. Remastered. Love

So I was able to buy from my cousin a stable Xbox 360. No internet since I use it for xb1. I was at GameStop & found GTA San Andreas remastered. Never have I played this amazing masterpiece in my gaming history!

 

Any advice into which safe house to buy? Man, did GTA V missed out on that! I think I'm going to play GTA SA Andreas for months. What houses did you ppl buy?

 

Any tips of early cash? I found an armor & smg under a bridge.

 

I feel I wasted my time with other games when this rare treasure of game I bought. Everything online for this V is in GTA SA Andreas, terms of house, girlfriends, assets. I haven't finish & started a new game. I'm sorry I'm late, late in getting this game. Thank goodness this forum exist on this site.

You should of picked up a xbox original version of the game, it's the classic version and bug free, but it doesn't have the remastered graphics (but those aren't great anyway, too exaggerated if anything).

 

San Andreas is still a amazing game, but the notable bugs in the remastered versions (radio glitches, cutscene glitches, freezing glitches) - was what stopped me playing that version after I achieved all the gamerscore.

Here are some easy ways of making money early:

-killing drug dealers.At first they only spawn in Ballas and Vagos hoods,but later they will spawn in Families hoods too.They drop a few thousand dollars when killed.Just watch out because they are armed with pistols,and if you shoot them in rival gang's turf,that gang will attack you,I prefer to stealth kill them from behind with a knife.

-burglary.It is unlocked early in the story (when CJ and Ryder steal some retired soldier's guns),and can be done at any night,just look for a truck near B-Dup's apartment.I think you can earn around 10 grand each night (or even more if you hurry up and are lucky enough to find a lot of unlocked houses),just watch out for gangsters which could be hanging out in the house you broke into,and don't wake up the residents if they're sleeping.

-lowrider competitions.If you're good at it you can make some money by betting on winning in a lowrider bouncing competition.It's unlocked when you meet Cesar.

-don't waste money.Try not to get killed or busted often,buy only the clothes you like (if you want all the clothes,buy the rest later when you'll have more money)...

 

As for safehouses,I recommend buying only the ones with garages.There are a few exceptions I made,like the Angel Pine safehouse (so I can change CJ's outfit there) and all the safehouses in LS (that's just because I wanted to,and I bought the ones without garages later).

Yea, it's a bit buggy but reload the save file. OH, I never did get rid of the 1st Xbox. Question if I decide to get the original...where would I find the game?

Mulholland is going to be mines. The safehouse beaches are cool and San fiero is my fave city. Still haven't been to los venturas yet. Loving the gang wars taking over for the Fan.

@LeopardGecko You're wrong, Burglary isn't unlocked during Home Invasion.

It's unlocked right when you start a NEW GAME. Hence being able to do it in a Starter Save if you want BEFORE the first Story Mission in the game, which is Big Smoke.

 

I don't usually do Burglary as having Max Stamina is all I need for CJ to run a distance without getting tired. I never needed Infinite Sprint in SA and plus, Burglary adds +1 to the Mission Attempts Stat and NOT to Mission Passed, thus I don't do it to add an extra Attempt...

 

You can also buy all the Los Santos Safehouses before the first Story Mission in the game if you want, too. Money is easy to come by. You can take the 350 Dollars you start the game with and turn it into 3,600 Dollars by multiplying it x11 and winning with Inside Track Betting. You can keep doing this and multiplying your winnings by x11 until you are satisfied. I will tell you right now, though, if you make 1 Million Dollars you are set for the game and have enough money to buy ALL Safehouses as well. Some people like getting 999,999,999 Dollars but I don't care to do that as it's pointless...

Max Stamina is not really good if you run long distances though.

If you have Max Stamina and tap X while running, CJ practically never gets tired.

 

Have you ran to Mission Markers while keeping anything in the Impounds yet? I don't think so. If I can do that even WITHOUT Max Stamina, I think I have running covered WITH Max Stamina...I don't need to run on foot around the parameter of the entire Map for instance...

 

If you NEED Burglary done, then good for you, but I don't...It's not NEEDED nor was it ever NEEDED...

I don't care for these random bugs the remaster version has. SA is still a grate game till this day no matter what. SA is basically the definition of an SP game. If someone asked you before "Hey!? whats a good single player gta game? You would tell them gta SA hands down. This gta has a sh*t load to offer. I still love gambling in the casinos no matter how many times i lose

I downloaded the digital version for ps3 last year and I stopped playing because I thought it had no cheats. Afew days ago somebody left a message in my inbox saying the shoulder buttons in the remaster version have been reversed working codes in the order of R2, R1 etc. I tried the codes yesterday and they work all of them!I immediately put in the 1st weapon tier cheat then the chaos and riot codes and watched the world go crazy.
Then I played another game where I beat the hot ring racer mini game for the first time and was rewarded 10 thousand dollars along with a monster truck and a hot ring racer permanently spawning at the stadium. I put in the codes again got the monster truck recruited a gang member and drove around town shooting and running over enemies. It was like playing a GTA online free roam session. Lots of fun. Next time I'll put the game in chaos and riot mode and go ouround town in an ambulance saving lives.

 

 

 

ps. the remastered version is beautiful imo. although some on here might not like it but for me the colors , the car textures, the lighting, the shadows and its so crisp and clear. in all my years of playing san andreas I've have yet to reach las venturas. completing this playthrough with this new outlook is going to be a blast.

Which safehouse you buy doesn't really matter, it's just a cool feature although I'd suggest you don't buy the $100k one in the countryside as it doesn't even have a garage.

 

One piece of advice I'd give is once you get to Angel Pine, get in the nearby ambulance and do the paramedic missions there. It's really easy as it's a small town and helps a lot to have twice as much health later on in the game. Also you might wanna do the firefighter missions out there but you'd have to find a fire truck and drive it back there. Being fireproof will be a huge advantage in certain missions but it's not really a necessity so you don't have to but definitely do the paramedic missions.

Oh yeah I forgot to add the easiest money making method. Save the game, go to the horse betting place, put all your money on the high odds horses (purple or green), if you lose just reload the game and try again.

Which safehouse you buy doesn't really matter,

• Having the Safe Houses makes doing the Vigilante Sub-Mission easier. The Player can stop into one to change Carl's shirt, losing the wanted stars quickly to resume the sub-mission.
• Burglary, giving the Super Sprint makes doing the Turf Wars easier, as a prime tactic is to run from one end of the battle zone to other picking up arms and loot. and It is easier to do the Gang Tags on foot instead of jumping in and out of a vehicle.
• Paramedic, is hit or miss, some find the doubled Health Bar useful, some don't. The 50% addition to the Body Armour is helpful. The Health Bar can be doubled just by Running Around.
• Firefighting, to make Carl "Fireproof" and lots of money is very useful.

I do Firefighting to gain money to buy safe house,

Then Burglary to get the sprint.

after which Gang Tags to get the arms cache.

It then is time to start doing missions.

EXPLORE to find the weapons and body armour pickups.

I had to grind like s mother [email protected] to earn the below cash. Not allot mind you, just enough. I hate them b! Vh a$$ Ballas, s--t! Took over 7 Territories before departing. Missions with Smoke was the best.

 

I now arrived at San Fiero. I had $667,873 and needed a place to stay. I used my motor bike all over ever street, found a free amor, sword. Saw a few located homes. The only safe house I saw was not marked. It was in Hashberry. I really gave this so much thought, so much! Bought it for

40,000 for 4 cars inside and the interior with wardrobe was cool too. What I liked about this was it was hidden unlike other safe houses in SF. I bought Zero's property after I completed the driving school. Got a call from one of my workers of race tournaments so I did 2 of them, really the cash came in handy. Found a strange hottie lol. Doing something of martial arts. Ask s date to CJ. Hopefully he isn't as needy as Denise. I haven't read any spoilers and this IS the best GTA in my history. Just wowed by the story. Ceaser is one cool cat.

Sounds cool man. Is this glitch a cheat? I want to play this with honesty. Let me know. I'm taking my time in this game, soaking it all in. So the girl who wanted to date CJ is Katie. Like this chick, crazy but not insane like Denise. Katie if treated right talks with manners. lol.

 

So I'm at the point of where Rider after sniping all the idiots to help the triads or Cloud something...I chased that that b!tch and decide to swim after, found a boat & kept shooting. Took a while but I rode that fake green smoking a$$hole & blew that boat up. I don't know how I feel about this whole code of honor?! People from the start of Grove ST tells CJ, do this, CJ do that, CJ where your colors, CJ earn your strips, CJ represent. Man, the mentality of this so far is a constant dragging him, stabbing him in the back.

 

You know what a moral code is? Truth be told, helping your related FAM in the blood that runs through their vains! But Sweet is giving me on a personal level, putting me down.

I know it's all gang related ties, I get it. But I'm hoping CJ continues to make his business a profitable one!

Just for a curiosity how did you find Wrong side of the tracks? Did it take you a couple of tries or not? It's probably the most iconic mission in the gta series due Big Smokes memorable quote right after you fail the mission.

I didn't fail. Just saw how BSmoke was shooting the guys on top of the train so I went fast & just a bit of riding in a way he can kill'em. Almost died too. He didn't say just follow the damn train, he said, Follow the train CJ. lol. Had I gone slow I imagine he would haved said it.

 

What makes me second guess about smoke is how kind he is, live in Ballas territory & dismissed the mother talk while ordering the whole thing, economy went up.
