Perry Lapix
GTA Concept DLC GTA Online "Blue Collar" DLC It's time for you to find out what working means, start your own blue collar company and hire players and NPCs to work for you. Purchase the vehicles and buildings you need to make your blue collar company profitable. And who knows, you might do so well, you can become a white collar guy. In this GTA Online concept DLC it's all about simple businesses, blue collar businesses to be exact, these would be the 5 following businesses: The wood/logging company: hire players and NPCs to cut down trees and sell them to make your profit. The builder company: hire players and NPCs to get contracts and build real estate in Los Santos and Blaine County. The quarry: buy the quarry and make your profits by having players and NPCs work for you. The trucking/shipping company: get yourself a nice pair of 16-wheelers and make your profits, and when you run out of roads you simply take your cargo onto the seas or the train tracks. The fishing company: get yourself a nice boat and conquer the seas and most importantly the animals who live in it. The system of running your company: Step 1: you set up your company: give it a name and hire your employees, if a player signs for your company they have to complete their tasks or buy themselves out for $20000, you are the boss and you're the only one who can fire them. Step 2: start a project and complete the mission(s) involving this project together with your employees, but beware these may not always go as peaceful as planned. Depending on the size of your project your profit may be big or small, after the missions are completed you and your employees will be paid, but as the boss you get the most of course. Step 3: depending on whether you signed your employees for one or several projects you either start a new project with the same or different employees or you decide to explore the other opportunities of business in San Andreas. Some other details: - you can hire up to 5 players or NPCs for your company. - every company has 9 projects: 3 easy level, 3 medium level and 3 hard level: these will have the same basic idea of selling a product and making a profit. - employees will be paid anywhere between $5000 and $50000 depending on the project and the company. - the boss of the company is paid anywhere between $50000 and $200000 depending on the project and the company. - the system of the projects will work roughly the same as the heists, you have to do several smaller mission to make the big money. - the faster a project is done, the bigger the profit, because time is money. - NPCs can be hired like the NPCs with the heists in single player. - NPCs can complete mission faster than players, but they are also more expensive to hire. - when you start a new project there is a 12 hour cool down time between your last project in which you can work for other or enjoy or invest your new cash. - the system for failing missions is like that of normal contact mission so you could do them by yourself. - you can hire players for one or several projects but also for specific project missions. There would be 10 new special company properties ($600000-$2500000) added, these include offices, working places and a 10 vehicle garage for all industrial and commercial classed vehicles, which can now be purchased online and stored instead of being Pegasus vehicles, there are no living possibilities, it's not your house. There would also be a new mod shop, called Garry's industrial mods, here you customize the 2 new cars and all your other trucks, vans and trailers, including branding them with your company name. For this new garage there would also be a new mechanic to deliver these new vehicles. The loading bays of these vehicles would of course become fully available to use. You can now also buy hangars and docking places for your boats and aircraft storage like in single player. Weapons, Vehicles and Clothes: Weapons for when things get a little ugly during your business ventures: - Chainsaw ($750) - Flamethrower ($2000) - Screwdriver ($50) - Saw ($150) - Light revolver ($2500) Vehicles, because you may very well need them: Cars: - Vapid Sandking XL X(Ford F-150 Hennessey Velociraptor) $60000 - Bravado Bison 'Blue Collar Editon'(New and more modifications) $35000 Planes & Helicopters: - Skylift helicopter(as seen in single player) $625000 - Cargobob civilian edition ($1200000) - Merrywheater cargo plane civilian edition(as seen in single player) $3000000 - Titan civilian edition ($1750000) (These vehicles can be fitted with your company's name and there loading areas can be fully used.) Boats: - fishing boat ($450000) - fishing boat XL ($700000) All these vehicles will help you do your projects faster meaning your profit will be bigger. Clothes: Clothes for this DLC will be overalls, high visibility jackets, working shirts, safety helmets and other safety accessories, like goggles. DJ Frantz
I'd prefer it if there were businesses that were actually fronts for distributing illegal goods, like Vice City's Cherry Popper Ice Cream factory. Groups could work with or against each other for larger profits. The trucking company could be like San Andreas' trucking missions: get the illicit cargo across state while avoiding the cops and other players trying to steal the shipment.
