i've had huge list of my trolling techniques ( hence my nickname " insane troll " )

but i was the one who discovered phone call spamming

I have not seen the option to call in a long time; was it disabled as a result?

Step 1: Spawn on Yacht

 

Step 2: Have a friend or random player put $9,000 bounty on you.

 

Step 3: Plant proximity mines all over the entrance to the yacht.

 

Step 4: Invite everyone in the session to the yacht

 

 

Enjoy.

I've done something similar except it was with my apartment. I'll invite everyone to my apartment. Then I'll instruct my friend to wait outside by the entrance with a tank. I go into passive and then I kick everyone out of my apartment. Then I feast on the screams of terror of all those people as they are helpless when my friend blasts them all away with his tank.

My best one was to troll a bunch of NPCs with cryptic messages.

At the end I received 5 stars wanted level but thanks to lester I removed it.

I guess you would get them going to it but when you start a time trial, you are in passive mode.

It's a very basic, but wonderful way to not only deny bounty payout, but also drain some of the hunter's bank account. GTA really is the online game that gives you nuanced ways to be a dick LOL!

I didn't think you payed the insurance on destroying a vehicle if the driver had a bounty?

 

That said, being of considerable wealth is equally fun when folk think the fear of a 27k premium protects them. erm. . .

You're right - you don't pay insurance when you blow up a bounty's vehicle, as long as they're in it. Just get out and stand next to or on it

 

I've done something similar to people griefing in jets. I get my T20 out and sit it in the road, then sit next to it in an NPC vehicle, in passive, and start to send text messages. The bugfest that is GTAO shows you as not passive when you're in a vehicle (most of the time), so they fly by and spray the area with their cannon. T20 gets blown up, I call Mors. Rinse and repeat. They stop after a while

 

It would be great fun to get about 10 players together and all of them leave their T20s together in an open space, then get someone with a bounty on them to stand in the middle. Over quarter of a million to claim a measly bounty. That would be funny.

In many cases though these people in jets could well be filthy rich and are only killing the guy with a bounty because they see it as just another player kill for their K/D or perhaps to help progress towards unlocking the bounty leg tattoo. If so then they wouldn't really care how much money they had to pay out in insurance as it would be a drop in the ocean for them. The player kill is what they care about I would imagine. That's certainly how it would be for me anyway if I was in their shoes.

If you're far enough, they can't auto aim you. You're a small target because you're sitting down and partially hidden by the Insurgent. Plus you can dodge and soak up RPGs/homing missiles.

 

It takes some getting used to, since it's hard to see that far without a scope, but it can work, and when it works, it works well.

Fly around in a cargobob until you find someones car. Then you just pick it up and drop it into the nearest ocean/lake. I think it destroys their personal vehicle and ends up costing them some money. All I imagine is someone going "WTF? How the hell did my car get destroyed?" and then I giggle by little butt off.

I used to do with this regular cars lol. Just keep a good distance from the player (out of the AA range, of course), and shoot them with the AP Pistol. I would also drive around in circles so it would be difficult for them to shoot me.

 

Another thing I do is cornershoot, especially with the Combat MG. I've been called a modder a few times as a result of this. I wouldn't consider it trolling, however, but it will definitely leave your opponents raged and confused as to how I managed to shoot them through the corner of the wall without exposing myself.

Go to one of the many places where the hydra spawns. If one is there, stick bomb it, wait for owner to fly away, then kaboom.

 

Bounty goes and hides in apartment. Put proxy mine at garage entrance.

 

I found a low low level that had a rhino tank. SO i got my T20, drove to him and let him blow me up. Repeated that until it said he only paid $1000 for insurance lol.

I call this correct way of teamwork. I m not a fan of freemode, so I m in passive most of the time and whenever my friend starts terrorizing other players, I sometimes run around them, even though almost invisible it pisses them off. Or I tailgate them, following every step and tell where they`re camping and which gun they have...

 

Another thing I like to do is, join an already started deathmatch with a friend in and tell them via party where the others hide. I ve done that a few times.

It's not trolling. You're just a dick. Why? Because you've wasted other people time, there is no imagination in this crap, it's religiously offensive for some people. My rule of thumb for trolling is simple: respect the victim and let them go if they want to. That's the reason I don't troll in heists or missions and I hate people who do this kind of BS.

 

Killing some guy using off-radar or during executive search with a golf club, wearing leopard boxers and beer hat while you're burning from your own molotov is a real deal, though. That's a laugh for you and the victim.

Only troll in free roam, because mission or race trolling is just sh*tty. As everyone does, boxing someone into a clothing store/Ammunation/convenience store, and basically forcing them to blow up your car and waste money on the insurance is, every once in a while, real dumb fun. I also like offering rides to people, then randomly bailing out and blowing up a sticky bomb I attached to the car long, long ago. Also, the proverbial annoying as f*ck horn/follow someone around method is fun. The Panto is a great troll car, too, because pissing people off and driving off into places they literally can't fit into is great fun.

Tried doing this for fun the other day after I crashed a modder who was dropping $ on people, and it seemed to work really well.

Went off radar and climbed onto a building at the airport. There were tons of people at the airport cause they all wanted dat cash so when the modder left, they all tried to scurry away. Anyways, I'm OTR with the homing launcher out, I aim it at everyone in a plane/heli so that it locks on and makes that sound, then cancel the lock, re lock, repeat. People freak out thinking someone's gonna shoot them down, so they bail out to grab another heli, and I do it again and they bail out again. Not sure if they were just newbs or if they really didn't want to die, but it was hilarious.

This isn't trolling other players, but it's still amusing. Go to the ghetto in an AK and run over a gangster or two, enough to get em pissed and shooting at you. Then call the police. The subsequent shootout is pretty funny to sit back and watch.
