Territory glitch problem, can you help ? [PS4]

I'm currently playing San Andreas on the PS4. I'm having such a hard time trying to achieve the satchel charge version of the territory glitch in San Fierro or Las Venturas. I can't seem to attach the satchel charges onto the gang members and go to my desired territory in SF or LV, detonate them there and get back to LS to detonate them again to get the territory. I've tried recruiting the gang members to bring them over and kill them there but that don't work too.

Can anyone help ?

The satchel trick is a little easier if you can kill the last 3 attackers with the satchels. You need to kill at least 3 or the trick won't work. If you need to return to LS to finish the attack then be sure to avoid killing 3 in rapid succession (like triggering a gang war). Running them over or killing with a drive-by will also avoid resetting the zone.

What I'm asking is how do I get to SF or LV fast enough to detonate the charges, and back to LS to detonate and kill the enemies again to get the territory fast enough before I lose influence ?

I've tried using planes and jetpacks and they don't seem to help, by the time I get back my territory is lost.

Why are you trying to detonate them twice? If you want a GSF territory in, say, LV, you just go to the turf thats under attack, kill all but 3-4 gang members, attach satchels, go to your desired territory, blow the charges, and you should have it, no need to return back.

I did that, I detonated them, but nothing happened ! What am I doing wrong ? Do I have to keep trying or something ?

Yes. I dont own PS4, but I play on PCv1 and used to play on PS2v2, on both it usually wrks, but somtimes nothing happens when I detonate them. Just try again. If it doesnt work, you could try glitching a territory thats closer than the one youre trying to glitch now, the farther you go the smaller chance of it working.

One way to do this without satchels is to tow a vehicle full of Ballas/Vagos (at least 3) to your desired territory and kill them, then return to the turf thats under attack and run the attackers over or drive-by them.

@ Bender

It worked, thanks for that. I used the jetpack and got territory in San Fierro.
