I'd saw my left testi off with a rusty spoon for a full on, multi-map, SP and MP, multi-theater WWII title. Though, this WWI Battlefield looks rather EPIC in its own way. Agreed.I don't get why do they put unfitting modern music in trailers for movies and games in which it doesn't fit.Same happened with the new trailer for Assassin's Creed movie,seeing medieval Spain setting and hearing Kanye West made me cringe (I hope that song won't actually be playing in the movie during the scenes set in the past). It's pretty popular actually and people like to chant the melody in sports events and such. Here's the original version of it which is better than the electronic one they used imo: Wouldn't have really worked with the trailer tho. WWI had over 15 belligerents, so the very first lines "I'm gonna fight em off, a seven nation army couldn't hold me back," holds up well. Besides, the game takes place in an alternate and grungy time-line. Also, how could you add music "from the era"? Are you suggesting they add old Charlie Chaplin music to such a high-intensity trailer? The trailer music choice was horrid but the trailer itself was pretty good. More period correct-like music would have made it better but apparently attracting the cowadooty 12 year olds is more important. i can imagine the rage on those cod kiddies faces if they play this game. You'd be hard pressed to find something that would fit with the trailer and be "period correct". I wasn't particularly a fan of that specific version, but it really doesn't matter... It's a damn trailer. It's not like it's the actual game. A triumphant orchestra fits the era no more than what they used, unless WWI/II took place during the Classical Era and I missed it ? Plus, the 1943 theme remix was way better anyway, way more thunder. 1942's version sounds like pansy music in comparison.
