HaythamKenway
What a d*ck move, a textbook example of holding property hostage and taking advantage of your fans' passion for a popular game. The contempt Activision has for us. In the end, it's just laughably insulting. It's... they really are not even trying. 98 in 1
Well one thing's for sure, they know how to reel back in old idiots fans, cause i'm seriously considering getting IW just for COD 4: RM. If Pipeline isn't included in the 10 maps i'm gonna write a strongly worded letter to my local congressman (and probably sh*t in his mailbox). D9fred95
Well, better do it now because you might not get the chance later. They might never release it again as a standalone game, and you miss your chance. As for me, I'll get. Never was a fan of COD multiplayer in general, but always like the COD4 campaign for what it was. Though I've heard great things about it's MP. Oh they'll eventually release it. Fan demand and the amount of time developing it would make Activision insanely stupid to keep it locked to a unwanted game in a dying franchise. In true Actvision fashion however, they'l wait until at least a year has passed before releasing it, after which everybody who wanted IW will already have it. The standalone release would be to sweep up any stubborn gamers left behind. Even if they don't release it, I can always go back to classic CoD 4. I don't need the fancy new graphics to have fun with a beloved classic. It would be nice to have the remastered version, don't get me wrong, but it's no skin off my back otherwise. Just a port, scaled up resolution only, same textures I guess) of the original COD that got bundled with COD MW2, but it got its own release date later. You can now chill because it is very likely that MWR will get released on its own later on. For me, I'm skipping Infinite Warfare until all the DLCs are released so I could really tell how good the game is, including the expansions. I might get it around April or May next year so I could play the game and all the DLCs during summer. Lemoyne outlaw
hmm the infinite warfare trailer seems cool. i liked the first part on earth because it reminded me of aw and bo 3. the space part killed it. it looked more like destiny than cod. now there is gonna be zombies again it seems. while i love zombies and the theme i think we might get burned out of it. we had it last year this year next year and probably again. i loved extinction while it wasent perfect i thought it was fresh and unique. but i guess infinity ward wants to throw anything that had something to do with ghosts which sucks because there was some awsome stuff in that game. but i think its funny how people are saying they arent getting it when all we saw was a few minute trailer. they havent seen full gameplay and there already judging. also does anyone know what the big edition is this year like juggernog from last year? They're really pessimistic as hell and I don't want to ruin my optimisim just because kids think it's bad judging from A TRAILER. I think Extinction would have been more logical since we're talking about planets now. But, who knows? Maybe Infinity Ward can pull a better Zombies storyline this time around which involves other planets. Lemoyne outlaw
CReaper210
Well, I'm excited for the game. Some of my immediate feelings after the reveal... We're not getting a proper ending to the ghosts story. Personally, I enjoyed playing through the campaign of Ghosts. I think the gameplay was solid and it had an engaging story. And the cliffhanger really got me wondering how the next game would be. But I guess they're done with that. And we're getting zombies. So, I'm under the assumption that this means extinction is gone. And that is extremely disappointing. I had more fun with Extinction than I did all of zombies. I got to max prestige and still play it. I really would have liked for them to continue that story. Also, I just don't need zombies every year. It's already pretty stale for me in BO3. CoD4 is pretty cool. It was by no means my favorite CoD game. I think BO and BO2 were far better. But it will be nice to be able to go back and play through that game. It's really strange to me that they're launching these two at the same time. I'm curious how the population will be in each one a week in. Apart from these big things, it's another CoD game and I'm looking forward to the campaign and coop stuff. Don't really care for the multiplayer, personally, but CoD games have strong gameplay so I understand those that do. Ultimately, my biggest takeaway is the loss of extinction mode. It's just... so disappointing to hear. CoD finally had something different for their coop experience. Zombies has been done already. Survival/spec ops was done. Extinction was truly unique. And they turned it into something awesome with their upgrade system and progressing story. Whatever. Hopefully their take on zombies is actually different. esmittystud101
Okay, I know its been said but I feel I need to say it as well: "They are missing out on so much cash by not bringing out CoD:4 as a stand alone game. Even if it was digital only, a "disc only buyer" like myself would have actually jumped and purchased it. So I guess now it will depend on some of my friends if I buy this game or not. Which, as of a few weeks ago they all were the same as most of us on here. If they go further in the future, we don't want no part of that. But none of us knew about the Cod: 4 Remaster, so now I will see how they feel about it. When I think about it even more, its a $130 game this year if you want Cod: 4 Remaster. Which them only charging $20 for the Cod:4 Remaster isn't bad in price I don't think at all. Its actually a nice gesture from Activision and Infinity Ward. I tip my hat to them on that. dudclub55
It makes perfect sense that COD4 isn't stand alone, it would butcher IW's sales if it was. With how they're selling it, itll actually boost IW's sales so... clever. Sunrise Driver and DubzyNZ

This is the type of sh*t the democrats tried to pull in my state, "oh what's that? We need funding to repair our roads?" Then bulls*itly try's to cut 95% of funding for mental health services, then tried force those with mental illnesses to pay out their ass for it. Also even EA hasn't stooped this low yet. On-topic: I F*cking knew they'd stick a remaster of the good games behind bulls*it, plus the new game looks and sounds like the worlds biggest rip off of Halo.
