I've always thought the zombie modes in COD were always complete sh*t, but this actually entices me.

I have been a long time CoD player but also progressively with each game having a growing dislike for the ways they are either keeping 'bad' stuff in the franchise (and adding up to it) and removing everything that made the franchise good.

And even if I wasn't a 'huge' fan of the shift CoD4 did... it's still the better BEST one of the 'post CoD2 Call of Duty games.

Singleplayer was 'fun' with a silly story, they tried to stick to somewhat legit stuff. Multiplayer was at the time a very fresh formula that, eventhough was flawed at some points, worked really well and addictive.

After seeing the latest 'remaster' footage and hearing they're adding all the maps pretty much. I'm pretty stoked about this. It looks like a real and proper remaster. Upscaled graphics big time (hell, I just thought they'd give us the PC version but made for consoles). But alot of assets have actually been remade properly. Kudos for that!

It's a big shame you can't get this seperatly. I really would like to play this one on PS4.

I'm just more than happy to know the rest of the maps will be free. I was really worried Activision was going to be up to no good. That being said, I'm still don't mind waiting for it to be put out alone. I feel like it will be a good 6 months but its whatever.

 

Anyway, I am pleasantly surprised they are having a beta for this game. A good idea as much sh*t this game gets I don't see why not. Also, the only way I could maybe look forward to this. As i'm not going to get hyped off some trailer or some staged gameplay showing.

This is kinda like story of Killzone 1 and 2,with people who went to space before trying to seceed from Earth influence,and Earth forces going to take them down. Even some names sound similar(Earth forces-UNSA in COD:IW and ISA in Killzone).

I have to disagree, the do with with the special game edition dlc sh*t like nuketown zombies etc. I'm certain that MWR will come either halfway through IW's life or at the end.

So I've had this pre-ordered for a while (shame me, I know..) but as someone who would have bought COD anyways, as it's a yearly buy for me, this was pretty much a no brainer for me with Modern Warfare Remastered being included as well.

 

Us PS4 guys got access to the Remastered Campaign earlier today, and I must say it's REALLY well done. This isn't some run of the mill remaster, or just a slight up-res like Bioshock Collection. Every texture has been replaced, lighting is so much better, character models etc. The gameplay is just as good as I remember it being (but might seem outdated to some people). With Multiplayer included as well come November, this is going to be great bang for your buck if you usually buy COD anyways. You're getting 2 campagins and multiplayer experiences, with Zombies on top of it as well.

 

I still think it's bullsh*t they are not selling it separately, but I'm really happy with this Remaster so far. It really looks like Raven Software took care with remastering it.

That would be even more of a smart move to do. People on the fence for buying this and really wanting to have the Remastered COD4 end up buying/pre ordering IW. So they get those profits/sales anyways.

 

If they see the sales declining rapidly along the line they could do a seperate realese (probably even full price) so people get the remastered game aswel. Profits either way.

Currently i personaly think it will be dlc content later

then maybe within a year a true seperate release.

 

I still doubt they never will release it seperated from the sh*t i do not want ever...and if they don't, well....there are other games out there.

I'm sure they'll sell it seperately somewhere down the line. They have to keep it tied to IW for a while, but eventually they'll want to milk it.

 

On an unrelated note, it would be interesting to know how many people bought IW just to play 4.

I think Infinite Warfare is probably going to be the best Call of Duty since MW2 (or CoD4, depending on what type of CoD preference you have). I think it's going to be critically well received a lot better than usual considering the glowing previews the campaign has been getting from various media outlets who are usually quite anti-COD (Hello, Vice Media!).

 

I'm really, really looking forward to it. The COD4 remaster is just a nice bonus.

hey has anyone played the iw beta yet? i have mixed thoughts. on one hand i think its fun and fresh to the cod series yet it still has the same feel of the cod we know and love. the maps are pretty good. the guns are fun to use not to mention the classics they are gonna bring back. rigs dont seem as op as specialists which is a good thing. it feels like it takes skill to use them. on the other hand though just be ready for the ghosts time to kill. because you cant even spawn without dying sometimes. the second you come around the corner by the time you see an enemy and start to shoot your dead. it really sucks you cant do much. but that is my main gripe. other than that its pretty good. what do yall think.
