D9fred95
"Returns to the roots"? Bleh, only if they mean't that the CoD4 remaster would return the players back to the roots. Ah yes, the CoD4 remaster, the game everyone wants to play but has the shell out $100 for a crappy game nobody wants so they can play it. Like with the Modern Warfare series where it turns out Makarov was involved the entire time, this time it turns out Aliens where behind all the events since the beginning. pockings
To no surprise, early pre-orders numbers are dismal. Source http://www.itechheads.com/2016/06/infinite-warfare-pre-order-sales-extremely-low/ .
Jitterdoomer
Even though they didn't pre-order it and dislike the trailer, people still going to buy the game after Day One. I checked that site and it's laughable to see how many people pre-ordered that "game". Edited June 6, 2016 by Jitterdoomer
Adrian J.
I'm probably a minority in this but I enjoy COD single player for what it is. Enjoyed AW and IW seems a bit different this year in terms of the campaign. Apparently you will be able to rise in ranks and go to a position of leadership (possibly command people and send them on missions?), use the Jet/Spaceship thing to fly between earth and space. Also side missions will be present. So obviously this is not gonna be another typical COD campaign, and former Naughty Dog narrative and lead game designers work on the game. Besides some people love future and space stuff. Edited June 7, 2016 by Adrian J.
Gummy
Honestly, I was never really interested in COD, thinking they are all pretty similar and dull, but this actually looks interesting to me.

We wouldn't have bad games if it were that simple. I am not saying it's simple, All i am asking for is common sense. There are plenty of wars out there from 1930 to 2016 to choose from and make a great FPS shooter. Make a good REALISTIC campaign that combines; Stealth missions, Special Forces sneaking into places and Full combat war like in COD 2. Trust me, if they can create the most ridiculous space/ alien plot that makes no sense at all and still sell a game, they can use a real war and make it a videogame. If a bunch of modders can make a COD 2 Campaign Mod about the Spanish Civil war that looks 10/10, Activision can do the same thing even better about anything they want. This is an insult, the way they do merchandising with their "best and innovative call of duty so far" into another already "annoying game" makes me want beat the sh*t out of them. they're so disgusting. I also find it odd how there is no mention of a Season Pass for Infinite Warfare. Oh hey, They'll eventually announce on PS conference, no worries. TheRealSnitch
I'm glad people aren't pre-ordering this crap anymore. Just cancelled my pre-order and looking to get Battlefield 1 or Watch dogs 2 instead. Those pricks over at Activision may finally be getting the message. I hope this game fails miserably... They should feel ashamed for developing this disgraceful crap they call Cod. What gets me is that some people are pre-ordering this sh*t and are looking foward to playing it. Even though most people are looking foward to the CoD 4 remaster but i'm not paying 80$ on game just to play the remaster and not the infinite sh*t. Battlefield is going to destroy this game so badly.

Richard Power Colt
Yeah honestly it doesn't look that bad. I probably won't buy it, but I don't think it really deserves the massive amount of hate. LittleBlueTroll
I'm scared and excited to play the COD 4 campaign on veteran again. Some of the missions make me want to cry. I can't help but feel I used to be a lot better at games than I am now, so chances are I won't be able to complete it again. But I will die trying. Also, its time to pull out every single one of my hairs trying to do Mile High Club.

Fireman
When I was watching E3 I thought this looked really cool. It could be however, that I am so anti-mainstream, that when I heard CoD-players disliked this game, I immediately started liking it, without having ever seen any gameplay or trailers. Am I really that shallow? Well yes, I am.

PoeticWhisper
I am gonna be honest, it took me a few minutes in the trailer to realize what the game was. I guess that's a good thing. However once I realized it was CoD I noticed all the cliches the game is known for. The breaches, the gunplay looked incredibly familiar, your companion saying your name over and over again... It didn't look too bad though, I'll say it. But none of that sh*t will be in Multiplayer and if it is I will eat my socks. With all that said, I am still not into futuristic or space FPS's. I never have been, and I don't think I ever will be. Something about space or far future settings just don't resignate with me, unless the time is really well thought out and grounded.(E: Fallout) Which I seriously doubt this will be. I was surpised to see this was Call of Duty but it's just not my cup o' tea.

HaythamKenway
The demo looked better than I expected. The spaceship combat, the engagement in zero gravity, the grapple hook gimmick allowing the player to stick onto surfaces at 90 degrees and so forth. With care and attention, you could build an entertaining game around these things, but as I've said before, I suppose they are just random setpieces that occur once, twice throughout the game. I wish I was wrong though. It kind of reminds me of Halo: Reach (the demo just screams "A Long Night of Solace"), only if you replaced all the Spartans with average Marines and the Covenant with human Insurrection. And that's not really a bad premise. Better than Black Ops III was, at least. I like that they are keeping the player abilities grounded, no advanced movement, no augmentations. That's actually kind of unconventional for a sci-fi shooter, as most go the supersoldier route. Disregard that, I just rewatched the demo again and noticed boosting, whelp. Well, it still does seem to me a bit more grounded than AW's and BO III's zipping through the air. And the point still stands when it comes to the general tone of the story, if not in gameplay. SouthLand
Again, I played COD since COD 1 on my crappy Laptop back in the days. I like World War 2 games, I like present day warfare. But i dislike all the Futuristic alien paintball thing. The last Cod game i played was MW3 and it sucked big time.
