Hell yeah! I hope I could get COD4 earlier instead of buying Infinite Warfare.

On the other hand, this listing appeared. I will surely buy this trilogy if they turn out true. COD4 was the only MW game that played smooth with good graphics. I had to play MW2 and MW3 on low because of my awful, aging PC back then.

 

I hope the game unleash the full potential of the PS4 and not just reuse the better assets from the PC version.

This new iteration aims to take a step further from the latest COD titles by presenting a setting in the far future (and into outer space).

The Standard Edition will be priced at $79, which is a bit expensive for a PS4 title. Note: I haven't bought a COD title since MW3, so I guess this has been the norm for COD titles since I left off.

The Legacy Edition comes with a digital copy of COD Modern Warfare Remastered, and it will be priced at $109.

I'll see how this turns out. It will be my latest COD title since MW3. But, if this turns out to be meh, then I'll pick The rumored trilogy or COD4 instead.

Yeah. And just as the last DLC is about to get released, a new game gets announced making the average gamer regret buying the "now outdated" game plus its DLC(which will be copied on the next game).

 

I'm glad it's set in space. I skipped Advanced Warfare and BO3 because their mechanics were getting far too common among sci-fi games. Other than that VR-focused EVE:Valkyrie, this is the one that convinced me into going for Space-based games.

 

Here's hoping that it's not just about shooting foes while floating in space. I've been floating all over the map since Counter Strike with zero gravity in a custom map.

Epic. mentioned in the Blops III thread that the poster is from Canada, so the pricing is different because of that.

 

The remaster is more of a "solution" for the backwards compatibility problem on the consoles. Not ideal, of course, but on the other hand, the game has been on low population and plagued with cheaters for years. A clean slate isn't a bad idea.

This was the reason why I play COD on LAN or provate IP. I miss those times when I used to mod COD 4 to make the soldiers look like those in MW2 and MW3.

if I had to predict I'd think they'd have overgrown, strike 'n vacant because they were the ones as DLC for MW2, plus pipepline because pipeline yo

so if I were thinking of 10 maps, I guess it'd be your list but they'd replace wetork, killhouse, ambush and somethin' else with the four I listed

I always liked Overgrown a lot, but then again, I tend to have a rather weird taste in maps, across all games.

 

And I feel pretty confident in saying that there will be no changes made to the game, it is a remaster, not a remake, after all. If we really get the whole trilogy, though, I'd love a shared menu, similar to The Master Chief Collection. It's so wonderfully convenient.

nah f*ck overgrown it always boiled down to a sh*t ton of camping in either the two buildings on the top spawn or the building over the bridge with the ladders. not to say that a majority of cod maps arent just 2/3 lanes with choke points but overgrown would suck dick when a pavelow/ac130 would be out, you cant get in the buildings because people are camping it and you keep getting spawned at the petrol garage place.

Call of Duty peaked for me around BO/MW3, sniping was always my favourite thing in the games (yes I was one of those trickshot kids) until sniping mechanics got f*cked up in BO so we did some MLG/GB stuff, went back to sniping MW3 and enjoyed it for a while then I just sort of gave up after that due to discovering what a vagina is. Barely played BO2, played Ghosts for 10 minutes one day then got a PS4 and AW and it just felt like a grind comprised of being f*cked over by unbalanced supply drop weapons (Obsidian Steed, RIP, etc), even trying to have fun playing infected would have a sh*t ton of wallbreach bugs that just f*cked the game. I still hit 30th prestige thanks to Comeback 24/7 and 4xp but f*ck I don't want to do that again I spent more time annoyed than I did enjoying it.

 

MW2 I could get a 6 man party, go online and destroy sh*t for hours at a time whereas most of the sh*t after that just felt empty. Kinda crazy I used to play with some members of FaZe and other clans like that, sh*t one of my ex GB/trickshot buddies now has 120k subs and makes pokemon vids

Not exactly shocking for me to say I'm far more excited for the COD 4 remake than the new title. If the new one has boost jumping, thrusters, jet packs or any other bullsh*t like that I will vomit.

Shame they can't just release a COD 4/MW2/MW3 fully remastered edition and let me live out my COD multiplayer needs on them.
