Character glirched when switching

Ive been searching away on google but havent found a similar problem anywhere. Anyways when Im playing online and switch to a SP character (Michael for example), after the loading screens I spawn under the map for a second and then the screen goes black with a loading circle in the corner. That lasts for about a minute or so, which is not long but pretty annoying, and after that I spawn as normal (in a cutscene). Is this to do with a savegame? I dont really play SP anymore and have had this problem for months now but havent bothered to sort it.

 

Edit: glitched, not glirched (ffs) and Im on PS4
