Possible glitch or cheat to watch out for on PS4.

Last night there was a player at Tinsel Towers sniping at me while I was at the LSC nearby... All good there so far, just a taste of my own medicine.

So recognizing the danger and where it was coming from, I moved to a position that I knew anybody on Tinsel Tower would not be able to hit me, yet still hits were being registered and the kill was confirmed as the player on Tinsel.

Upon re-spawn I moved to another location and took cover behind an even larger building, with the same net result, and again with another building.

 

I caught sight of a couple of the tracers at the first location I was killed and they seemed to be angled about 10-20 degrees from vertical, which to me suggests the player was very high in the sky.

 

Has anybody else (I am on PS4) come across this?

Did you actually get a glimpse of the actual player or just the blip? Could possibly be under the map on a solid surface.

Yeah probably using the wall breach that allows you to run underground

I couldn't see them.

 

I thought underground glitch too initially, but the angle of the tracer round was wrong for it to be coming from below, as the top was angled towards Tinsel, not away.

 

But I'll go with that for now and hope it is one of those one off things that doesn't become rampant.

There is a wall breach at Tinsel. Encountered a coward with a bounty hiding there the other day, killing everyone who came to claim it, all the while laughing and saying things to a buddy of his (also in the breach) in German. If there is an Insurgent parked near the front door, that's the giveaway.

Yes there is a breech but its limited just to the front and sides not under the map a large vehicle is needed to do it

Best thing to do is go passive and join them then wait for your moment

If players are hiding in that breach just use the draw distance sniping trick. Somewhere near the Lifeinvader building is far enough away or on top of Rockford plaza. Most stand in the front corner. Easy kill.
