Should I switch back to PS4/XBOX One?|FreeModeEvents/VIP Missions

So this is a poll to help me decide to which console I switch back, or if I stay on PC.

I am currently thinking about buying PS+/XBOX Gold again, instead of playing GTA Online on PC,

for two main Reasons:

 

1. Hackers(Which is something I can live with, so that won't be discussed here)

 

2. People no playing Free Mode Events/VIP Missions

 

The second one is the most important to me, because if I am in a game I expect people to play the objective, I excpect at least 5 people to attack my Yacht during Yacht Defense, and I expect enough people to come after me in Executive Search.

I expect people to go to King Of The Castle, Moving Target etc. eventhough it is on the other end of the map. etc. etc.

 

 

So only vote for yes, if people on your console would for example go for a Moving Target Event on the very top of the map.(more than one player of course)

And maybe elaborate with details.

I play on XB1 in free-aim lobbies and freemode is usually pretty full. There are usually at least two VIP teams, and at least three or four people participate in freemode events. It's not perfect, and I don't know if that answers your question, but it seems to be working really well for me on XB1. PS4 is even better I think, with even more players and options.

You can search forever and you're never going to find a situation where people are always doing freemode events, always doing what you think they should do. Humans don't work that way.

The problem I have (Xbox One) is that if a session should ever get full, it'll just split sooner or later. When the game's juggling 20+ different connections, and they all have to be great ... It's not pretty.

 

It only really handles 16 tops without splitting. At that though, you can usually get quite a few people joining in.

I play on XB1. In busier lobbies (15+ people) there is usually at least one or two VIP organizations, sometimes more; and very often at least one of them is doing VIP work (if no one else is, I usually am, because that's how I make all my money nowadays).

 

As for free roam events, participation in them seems pretty good to me. The contest-type events usually have at least a few people attempting them, and the objective ones like Dead Drop or King of the Castle are contested more often than not, especially if they spawn in the city. The only events that tend to get ignored are Penned In (I like this one, but nobody ever plays it anymore) and the melee challenge, which was just dumb and ill-conceived to begin with.

I think OP needs to lower expectations a bit if not playing with friends or crew. I expect nothing from this game or the ppl playing it. Im on PS4 and never play any of these events. The fact your expecting anything but hassle and grief from this game shows you aint thought this through at all.

Yes, I know what you meant. I was in three servers back-to-back, and most people were taking part.

 

I honestly don't care if you think it's true or not. It happened. Does it happen all the time? Of course not. But it did this time. You either land in a server with people wanting to play 'em or don't, that's it.

I am sorry for my disbelief, but my experience with the PC Version has been so frustrating for the last few days.

 

The trigger of all evil are mostly Hackers, in every Lobby I join I have at least one guy write about a hacker in chat, or at least on hacker blowing things up, or giving away money.

 

Since people on PC, even the low levels, are kind of rich because all these hackers giving them money, I thought they lost the incentive to do Free Mode Events and/or VIP Missions, that is why I think on consoles, the experience COULD, be better.

Just because I think the OP got the wrong idea and thought something I consider f*cking dumb (as opposed to actually calling him f*cking dumb, which I did not), doesn't mean I should have any alternative reason as to why he'd want to move from PC to a console.

 

That question was like one of those weakly scripted courtroom dramas where someone is giving evidence. When they explain what the accused did, the defence lawyer says, "And why do you think they'd do such a thing?" What the actual f*ck does that have to do with anything? Does the witness not having an explanation make any difference to the fact that something took place?
